Why does he deserve a proper chance? If he truly wanted one wouldn't he be working his back side off at Sevilla?

When he scored that goal at Arsenal I saw something in him that a lot of younger players don't have, bags and bags of confidence. He may be looking in certain areas but Lucho knows how to make a player work hard, we would be mad not to give him a run in the first team to prove himself.

Agreed. He's working a lot harder than before. His decision making is what's letting him down now.

He's fallen down the pecking order now, but his first half of the season was good. He held the best assist per minute ratio in the league (might still have it) and I thought Emery had instilled some work ethic in him when I watched him play.

Sevilla are well stocked in his position (Vitolo in very good form) and, honestly, have you guys watched them play? Its a lot of hoof-ball. A lot of it. Nice footballers like Gerry, Denis Suarez are always gonna be somewhat expendable.

There's a good chance he won't make it, but like Kerrybai said, we'd be mad to give one of the best talents of La Masia at least the first half of next season. Although, where does he fit is another question.

Because any decent talent from La Masia gets or should get a chance in the first team. Munir has had his, Sandro and Adama also to a lesser extent. Deulofeu however, who showed much more promise in Barça B and has already played Premier League and La Liga football, has not yet played an official match for Barcelona. That's not fair and very strange in my book.

Balague said on Revista yesterday that the plan is sell Pedro in the summer and bring in young Luciano. Balague's a wanker, of course, but if there's any truth in it, I'm not sure how well he'd fit. I mean he's obviously great but surely he's only a straight swap at number 9, which doesn't give a lot of options for play time.
Balague the idiot at it again?

Don't we have a transfer fan this summer to sell a proven player like Pedro? So what, we sell Pedro and move into the season with just the MSN trio?

The chance he missed at the second minute is gonna be decisive for the qualification.
Great talent though, he can reach a pretty high level if he keeps on playing regularly.

I don't know about others here, but i would be more excited to sign Oliver Torress. He seems the only dude, who is at least similar to Xavi. And that at 20 years old.
