He could be a one season wonder. Munir showed signs of improvement last season. He was better than Vietto last season. That is my point, obviously Vietto ceiling is much higher but what good is it when he can't reach it.

As I said some ended badly. And you can't blame everything on Zubi. Douglas is a shady transfer to begin with. Vermalen was a cover up to cover up the incompetence of the board in signing a young CB. Song had a breakthrough season and was available and we bought him. Signings like Bravo Mats Rakitic and Mathieu really paid off. Zubi gets lot of undeserved hate. But he tries to do his job well. Some of his opinions are bs though like Barca DNA and crap like that which will end up in cover ups like song and vermalen.

Robert has made 4 fantastic signings and is about to sign a very young and insanely talented striker with La Liga experience for 22m, in a market where players like Lukaku are valued at 75m.

He said he scouted Douglas for 2 years too. He signed Vermaelen despite the medical team telling him he shouldn't. And he also said song could play cb. Bravo, Rakitic and Mathieu weren't from his scouting. Mats was all him, his best job. But overall he didn't do that well.

Probably before taxes, if that's the number. But it's better than paying 5m for van persie.

Umtiti signing was great though, much needed signing. Player fits the style and bought him for cheap. And also had a good season. Digne, Gomes and Vietto not so much. But they add depth none the less, if they help us in winning the treble it doesn't matter how much we paid it would have been worth it.

Yes he only scored 3 goals this past season but 20 goals in your first season in Europe as he did at Villarreal is nothing to sneeze at either. I would argue that the fact that he performed well at Villarreal but not in Simeone's system bodes well for us. Of course Correa would be the ultimate dream but that isn't happening any time soon for any buying club. If we can get him performing at Villarreal or Racing Club levels it would be a great transfer.

Mathieu was Zubi signing.He wanted him in 2013 when his buyout was 10M but the whole budget went to Neymar
