To me Tata is a better coach than Lucho. Some might disagree with this because his Barca won nothing last season and had a bit of change of gameplay than pass-the-ball-for-the-sake-of-it-nonsense-with-no-defence. Compare his squad to Lucho's squad. His Barca also faced several on and off the pitch problems during the last season and yet his Barca didn't look this clueless in big matches. His shortcomings is not worse than Lucho tbh.

+1. It's not the game itself. It's the ability to put the team on the field. Our arrangement on the field was not bad, it was horrendous. 60m gaps between the attackers and the defenders. This is the worst performance I've seen in the classico since the 2008 4-1.

Tactically we weren't that bad, just lacked a bit of luck (that Pique handball, Iniesta giving away a goal for free, shitty set piece marking etc).

We have to be honest, we have a lesser squad then RM. We are losing the battle year after year during summer transfer season.

Where Real is smarter, and knew they had to upgrade attack and midfield in the last years to compete with us, we fail to recognize for some years already that our defense is not world-class (to say the least). RM have 3 central defenders who are much better than anything we have, yet our major transfer prospects of the last 2 years have been Neymar and Suarez, leaving no money for a truly world-class defender (or 2 of them). We buy mediocre players, really a shame as we were on top of the football world couple of years ago and could still be if money was spent well...

Madrid's best signing was Ancelotti.. His Madrid team is better than Mou's.

I think you are underestimating it.

Yes it was out mistakes that led to 2 of their goals, but after Neymar's goal Real Madrid ran riot. They created chances galore and fucked up most of those chances for themselves (thankfully).

Id like a big coach who the club can actually feel settled with and build a new project, one who knos whats going on in big games etc.

The lack of proper reinforcement of 3 season wasn't going to be fixed in one. Getting an injured Vermaelen being the worst now, even than douglas. This extra cb is being sorely missed, with Pique's current form.

The starting lineup was bad but he would be skewered if he dropped Xavi or Iniesta. He has a lot to learn but he has one hand tied behind his back with this squad.

As atrocious as Pique was, the only way this clownshow of a back line would have stood a chance would be with the slight chances he recovered his form, and using Mathieu as a FB instead of Alba was probably the right choice.

He got the midfield wrong, but like I said, this club is set in its own dumb ways.

Hard to so much with this squad, they arent performing, same as last year, they are past it ( Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Pique, Busquets, Alves) or simply not good enough (Matheiu, Rakitic, Pedro) or too Young. Doesnt matter who you bring in, the result will be the same, Add to that the transfer ban and we can look forward to 2 lost seasons moe without a League title or Champions League final in sight. I dont know how we got so bad so fast but i cant blame Lucho, even Pep would have been Clueless with this lot.
