Barcelona has the best defense in La Liga and RM is leading by two mere points, and yet you guys keep talking as if Barca was in BvB position :faceplam:

We haven't faced Sevilla, Valencia, Atletico yet..Do you honestly see improvements in this team?

People tend to forget the kind of no good start Carlo had at RM last season.

Hell, even this season he had a bad start.

You people would have sacked him already.

Hallowen was yesterday, don't scare me like that

If things go from bad to ugly in the next few weeks then I don't see Luis Enrique lasting so long. This board probably will somehow and in the middle of the season, with no other options, they might promote him.

Carlo is a world class coach who earns a bit more time to develop a project (which we have seen he can do time after time)

Lucho doesn't have that credibility.

I knew people on this forum were hysteric but this is worse than everything I've ever seen on here. People going absolutely nuts over 2 defeats, within a week, comparing Lucho to Moyes or Blanc. Horrible stuff.

Imagine what would happen if we lost twice against Atlético and drew once, and lost 2-4 to Sociedad, and all of that within 1 month, hmm...

I'm sorry but every coach deserves more than 2 freaking months to develop a project. Lucho started off slowly at Celta, then got a lot better; started off slowly at Roma, then got better there too.

People who want to sack Lucho after 2 months are out of their minds, there's no other words for them.

But replace him with whom? All good managers have jobs. Zubi chose him, thought he was ready. Rosell chose Tata... this board can't choose a coach properly. They know nothing about football.

Based on availability it'd be easiest to get De Boer or Paco I'd assume. Both would hold the same gamble in the sense of making a massive jump up (from Ajax/Rayo to Barca) but at the very least they understand the vision of 'total football' and how to play with tactical unity. It can't be expected that they'd turn us into an elite team again but at the bare minimum they likely won't be making the same fundamental or systemic errors that Lucho is and the quality of our football would go up (our defense..... not so much).

The point is that I'd rather have them plugging the holes as interim coaches with a chance to prove themselves than remain in this problematic state for much longer. I can't say anything for them man-management wise (how they can manage to rotate, groom the youngsters, make the big money decisions that define having the job) but they seem like intelligent and pensive enough men to not screw us over THAT badly. This is from a point of desperation though.

It's not even about that. It's clear he has no clue what he's doing tactically or in team selections.
