Who can you realistically get that is a huge upgrade, right now? Funny thing is we haven't played Atletico or Valencia or Sevilla yet either...could get worse.

I know the market isn't our friend at the moment, but I'm sure there's someone out there who is a significant upgrade for FCB comparing to a coach with literally two seasons of management experience in first league football.

We're facing Sevilla and Valencia back to back in Liga at the end of the month. Just can't see us salvaging all 6 points if Lucho doesn't figure something out ASAP. PSG in December as well.

What I fear though is we'll get easy wins against Ajax whom we face this Wednesday and then Almeria on Saturday making Lucho think we're ok.

Is it just me or is it so hard to rewatch the damn match and see where the fuk our midfield stands? Is that so complex?
Midfield used to be our signature, but now it's a farcry, an averge and outclassed by anyone.

Lucho needs to bring Samper to the midfield ASAP. It's going to be the biggest decision to bench Busi but Lucho has to man up and do it. He needs to ride that pine and play here and there only.

My lineup for Ajax:

MatS
Adriano - Bartra - Mathieu - Alba
Xavi - Mascherano - Samper
MSN

Oh how I fear this upcoming Wednesday.

New Lineup? Check
New GK who can't really communicate? Check
Team morale down after 2 defeats? Check

Pressure is on.

While there is some overreactions here ,Lucho has been horrible tbh
The guy seems a bit crazy ,he wants an attacking FBs and a midfield players who can cover them while doing their job in midfield ,the attackers need to play on flanks and go to play in the penalty area too ,all with players exchanging places
I think he is just trying to play Pep football even more than Pep regardless the players he has ,that has exposed our weaknesses more than ever ,made the players confused specially with the rotations
The 2 CMs can't create any more ,the DM is left alone ,the backline is exposed and the attackers don't get needed help

I couldn't agree more, drop Busi and get him fit sometime in the near future. In the meantime give Sampiesta a chance!!!!!!!!
Persevering with Busi is a balls up by Lucho and the sooner he realizes that the better.

If we lose away to Ajax (very possible) his job security is out the window. After that the big worries are Sevilla and Valencia which could put the nails in his coffin and maybe Apoel if we play as poorly as we did in the first leg (they're serial bus parkers and we're shit in away games). PSG match should just be overkill on us considering they'll have Ibra back. With some of these plausible losses/draws and maybe a shock result or two, he could easily be gone by the winter break.

It'd take a pretty huge turnaround to change the foreseeable trajectory of his Barca tenure. What I really hope doesn't happen is that the team just happens to do well enough to garner some narrow wins in some of the tough-ish fixtures to delay his sacking/resignation by half a season. That helps no one.

I'm really looking forward to Sevilla, Valencia and PSG, these games will give us a better hint where we're actually standing

There is no lineup consistency, which kills any formation of team chemistry. Mathieu was surprised to play as LB!! HOW CAN YOU HAVE A PLAYER SURPRISED GOING INTO AN EL CLASICO?

I agree with others that are saying he is trying to be too radical like Pep was. It's not working out because Pep had a clear plan when he made his radical decisions. Lucho doesn't have the reputation to pull a Pep in big matches.

But replace him with whom? All good managers have jobs. Zubi chose him, thought he was ready. Rosell chose Tata... this board can't choose a coach properly. They know nothing about football.
