So, who's to blame in an event Lucho gets fired and we're left without RB next season?
You just don't shoot yourself in the foot like that.

And Messi.
When Luchoball explodes he will be first to leave.

I don't wish him here, but find the prospect hilarious. There's definitely going to be a lot of groundless rumors linking Bielsa to barça if our season turns to shit

I'm not saying the club did very wrong in choosing Enrique, the choices are obviously limited (although I find it funny how we are the only ones who choose from leftover coaches, while other clubs simply get the coaches they want from other teams because they find a way to), but now that we know who he is as a manager, it's time to move on. A less-than-world-famous coach is OK as long as he's not a nutjob like Enrique.

I'm disappointed with how few rumors there are linking us to bielsa. hopefully the upcoming Montoya saga will fuel that fire :)

Montoya saga? Bielsa would have gone to the press and said "I never wanted Montoya here." And then he'd bench Messi, Suarez, and Neymar because "LOL Y NOT?"

What's wrong with Lucho pushing Montoya out:icon_confused: It's not like he's world class. Pep pushed Ibra out and Ibra is one of the greats. No one blamed Pep for that and no one lectured that the good coach will find a way to incorporate a player in the team. Montoya- big freaking deal.

I would have really liked Van Gaal but that's also an impossibility.

Klopp is a counterattacking god, and he doesn't like possession/passing football, so it's a no-go.

Maybe Rudi Garcia would be a better choice than Enrique? I mean, I don't think he will be any worse.

That said, fixing all the issues we have at our club is a monumental task and I'm fine with how we've progressed thus far. No hate on Lucho from me.

Rudi Garcia? After their pathetic CL showing?

Pep replaced Ibra with Messi. Scrubrique replaced Montoya with he who must not be named

Dortmund also had the same fate in their first CL season. Plus Roma is very overrated as a team. Garcia transformed them from a forgotten team to a decent team

This forum is so depressing. The players are shit, Lucho is even more shit, just fire him ASAP!!!! Never mind that we're through to the next round, only 2 points behind Madrid, and have actually played quite well recently. Never mind that it's Lucho's first season with us and the fact that new coaches inevitably need time to adapt. Never mind that people were shouting for something new. No, he's an idiot for not making us play exactly like we played the last 6 seasons and he should pay for it!

I understand that people are ruined by success, but I find it hard to believe that's all. Is it also that people don't understand how football works? Or that their memories are incredibly short? Or that there's some mysterious bout of hysteria that's making everyone lose their wits?

We don't have replacement and can't buy one neither as things stand right now. What message this sends to other La Masia kids? Just year ago he was renewed till 2018 and now is 4th choice after Alves who is leaving, Douglas who isn't even footballer and Adriano who will be injured sooner or later. Our defense isn't good enough to play with 3 defenders. Our midfielder is long dead so we can't hide our bad defense with passing ball sideways all match. Pep use to do that a lot cause he had good midfield. Back in 2009 we played CL final with Yaya Toure as CB. Could we do it now? Hell no cause our midfield is non existent. Montoya doesn't bomb forward like Alves so he could at least provide some protection in the defense. Montoya might not be next Iraola but he sure as hell is better than Douglas and Adriano together.

Yes it is big freaking deal.

But hey if this transfers brings dark clouds over Luchos head I'm happy. The sooner he leaves the better for everyone.
