Don't worry we will never win by a fluke. If we really win the CL it will be well deserved.

When teams usually win the CL, they have at least one lucky moment. Even we had the Iniesta moment in 2009, in a game we deserved to lose. Even in 2011 there was the Bendtner moment. It's just the way this competition works. Real had the Mikhytarian moment. Chelsea had the Napoli moment, then the Benfica moment, then the Barca moment, then the Bayern moment. In 2010, Inter was out of the CL at halftime with Kiev, trailing 0-1, then they had Benquerenca making the job easy for them in Italy. Manchester United had the Terry slip going in their favour in 2008, in 2004 Porto had the Andrade stupid sent off, and Scholesy's dissallowed goal. I could go on. It's what makes the CL special. You almost always need some luck to win it.

In 2009 we should have got an early penalty in the first leg. In 2011 there was the Bendtner moment but the game should have been well out of Arsenal's reach by then. What were the shots stats? 19-0?

Yea, in 2011 maybe, the amount of luck we needed was absolutely minimal, I think that Barca was the most worthy winner in a long long time. Not in 2009. In 2009 Chelsea was the better team over the 2 legs. Not by much, but they were.

Things could have been different without the overly harsh red(imo) for Pepe, but i doubt it. Otherwise, nothing can be said about you winning. Bayern had minimal luck to, Ribery the thug should have seen red on at least one occasion. We had our luck against Dortmund, things could have been alot different.

So I guess we can all agree that whoever wins the CL wins the CL and we shouldn't say things like we have no chance of winning.

Bayern had Rizzoli not giving a clear second yellow (or a straight red) for Dante's stomach kick on Reus. 1-1 and 10 men Bayern against the 2013 version of Dortmund? I have to give Dortmund the edge in that game. Fortunately for Bayern, Dante stayed on. The red for Pepe is legit for me. I've seen Pepe with intention to hit plenty of times prior to that Alves incident, and intention to hit is a red card offense regardless if there is contact or not (I still can't tell if he touched Alves by looking at the video, but Dani should've been cast in The Matrix if he faked that).

Dani fcked up by getting on a stretcher, leaving the match, and then jogging back like everything was fine and dandy. The red would have stayed had he got up and kept on playing immediately. Either way I don't think that was luck. I think we were going to win regardless.

Yea luck is needed for CL but you also need to have great players in each position and a smart manager. Things we really don't have atm.

Luis Enrique: "Alves could renew? Won't discuss those things publicly. Alves is very important, I'm delighted with his performances so far."

I have no more patience for this guy. He play Xavi-Busi-Iniesta at the bernaleo. It was terrible, they aren't that trio anymore. Then, what does Lucho do? Plays them again, at freaking Anoeta.
Genius :lucho2:
