Of course it is stupid to talk about firing Lucho or calling him a bad coach in general. But his decisions today were moronic and cost us the game.

Lucho has added a pragmatic and more unpredictable edge to our team. By the end of Pep's era teams had figured us out and the team lost their edge. Possession football and nothing else. Not to mention Pep bought alot of flops eg Ibra. We barely scored from set pieces,no idea how to counter attack, all small players....the list goes on.
Complacency is an issue but who does Lucho make an example of??? Pique? We have no squad depth. We need a cb,LB and a forward.
Considering the injuries and thin squad we have Lucho has done extremely well. There is no doubt the team are more focused on the Cwc. In pro sports you can't be complacent or you get punished.
Both manager and team have to share the blame.

Hmm, hardly, got better in 2nd half of the season, but to this day we still see the double pivot and other weird stuff.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The amount of people here who take the requirements of fullbacks in football and especially for Barca is criminal. Just because we have a 32 year old freak of nature playing RB doesn't mean every 32 year old can do that. Fullbacks in our system require insane stamina along with insane acceleration and speed. Mathieu has the speed but lacks the stamina and acceleration to be a fullback for Barca. It was clearly evident the first time he played there for us. His talents and physical attributes suit us infinitely more with him playing CB for us and that what he should be considered a starter or sub for not LB
