I haven't been criticizing him for a long time, but 2:0 is not game over Lucho. All what is needed to turn the game over is one goal. Second will come just out of motivation and the third is not far away also.
We have to know how to close the game in last 15-10 min. because all our effort and art performance can be canceled by few counters.

6 Ballons for Messi

but what if he wins 7??
This is all down to lucho.
Do you remember how pep was doing it? We were 4-0 up and we would push for 5-0, just like bayern does now.
Let's hope msn will be in good condition after march.

Bayern conceded 4-5 goal chances in 1st half today. Luckily for them the other team failed.

It's laughable to compare pep to lucho, pls.

Why?

Both won a treble in their first season.
You seem to forget how many frustrating games we had with pep vs. minnows just passing the ball around without chances or barely making a shot on target.

It's not Lucho's fault we had to play under this transfer ban either. Compare bench of Munir, Mathieu to what pep had.

Best midfielder around
He just doesn't learn. Same mistake as against Valencia. Trying to make us play more defensive to get the narrow win instead of attacking to extend the lead. That has rarely worked out for us.

Whatever, the Catalan papers will deservingly start their campaigns against him soon.

That they both won trebles on their first year as barca coaches is their first and last similarity between them.
Not to mention that msn won the treble and not lucho, who already managed to lose the sextaple or did we forget the humiliating loss to bilbao already?
Anyway, Pep has proved himself, he went to another team that played boring direct football and transformed them into the beautiful team that bayern is today.
We will see what lucho does when he leaves barca and if his coaching in celta and roma is anything to go about he will be plain average.
Let's not also pretend that Pep's barca wasn't the best team all of us have ever seen and it's obvious that he had a major role in it, unlike lucho who got completely carried by msn.

As I said, give it couple years(or months) when lucho leaves and we will see what he will do without msn.

The good part is that we have one more point over Atletico and Real than we had yesterday.
The bad part is Atletico and Real haven't played this round.
The horrific part is Lucho somehow rates Mathieu at LB.

Why were we last year so defensively solid then ? What about our massive improvement when it came to set-pieces ? Was it due to the attacking trio aswell ? Give the guy some credit.

I've said plenty of times that his rotation and whatever he's doing regarding the players' physical training works very well and it's the reason our big players were all healthy last season.
But that's that, lucho is not some kind of tactical mastermind, I think it's obvious to all by now.

enrique is a good coach, maybe even great. as is pep, however in the end they are both human and success tends to breed arrogance in them. Notice for instance how after we reached max gear against real and roma, that enrique went back to his non-sensical, almost arrogant subbing. the amount of youth players he put in against leverkusen, while rotation was warranted, we would have been seriously embarrassed on the european stage without ter stegen's keeping. today he pulled a similar stunt and he did this half of last season too before his job came on the line at anoeta. so, i think as someone pointed, he needs to remain grounded and this should be beneficial in the long run.

Stopped reading at "Bayern played boring football before pep".

Sure, whatever works for you.
