I don't think so, he doesn't care much for records and individual glory, if it's better for team objectives to rest the team in 2nd leg I'm sure he'll do just that no matter what.

He skipped the bdor ceremony, so yeah he doesn't care about individual records much.I was joking anyway

We should have gave Lucho a shirt and some boots yesterday, I bet even he would have scored a few goals.

The job he has done is truly amazing. Even after winning the treble last year, we are still looking as hungry as ever. Not to mention we by far the best team in Europe so far this season.

Brilliant Lucho!

Lucho will end up being a bigger legend than Pep was for sure.

Though, he probably won't get the same credit :/

That's not an opinion of mine, just a feeling, Pep is over-idealized in many culés memory because that team was the first one to break through and because people think today that everything we win is thanx only to MSN.

As far as i'm concerned, if we get the trebble this season (please please pleaaaaase), Lucho will be the best manager Barça has ever had ... holy cow, i've come a loooong way since last year haha!

Repeat trebles is just such a godly high expectation, even with the current squad of players we have.

If we manage to win Liga + Copa, this season will be an overwhelming success alone.

Hell, I would be okay with even just Liga, but Copa looks very promising at the moment .

The only challenge left is UCL really, Copa we'll play the final, should win it, Liga we have a solid advantage over ATM/RM and we already played most of our difficult away games already ..

Call me optimistic but I'm praying for the trebble, we can definitely achieve it if the team wants it enough, and it looks like they do... this team is a trophy eater! :)

Lucho was already a Barcelona Legend even before he started his management career.

Lucho it seems like no matter how well he does he will always be "Doubted" compared to Pep and other managers. Lucho did a good job so far in Rebuilding the team considering how (In my honest opinion) Since the post pep years (Tito-Tata) the team had basically Rotted you can say.

The system and the Tactics weren't good anymore in a sense it felt like it wasn't the same team and system we had enjoyed so much success earlier. in the 2012/13 season despite winning the La Liga that season what was a big black eye was Tito's Illness and just how bad the team's tactics and overall setup decayed compared to 2011/12.

2013/14 with Martino he did bring some new things to the table but we didn't bring in much needed reinforcements except for Neymar. But by February it was clear Martino gave up and it just went down hill we lost the league title and were knocked out of the CL by Atletico and we lost the CDR final To Real.

Fast forward to 2014/15 and the rest is history. Lucho despite it taking awhile for his system and ideas to start working he also helped rebuild the team back into high standards again. and not only that he helped bring back the Hunger this team had been missing for a long time and we won the treble.

2015/16 so far it started off slow due to injuries and such but once the ball started rolling again we are playing some incredible football even I'd argue even better than last season thanks to all the players truly adapting to the system. with the additions of Arda and Vidal and Lucho turning Roberto into a quality player things are looking even more bright.

Can't wait for the Summer transfer window, I want to see what Lucho has in mind for a new CB and LB.

Back to back Trebles would be the biggest achievement in European Football History.

Yes, it would. Which is a big part of the reason I really want it to happen.

I will likely feel just a hint of disapointment if it doesn't. Not because a domestic
double or even just a League title is not a good season, but we have a real chance
of becomming the most dominant team of all time - both in terms of titles and
subjectively on the quality of players.

Winning the liga would still mean a great season,
but it would soon be forgotten by most non fans. Defending CL would be historic and
defending a treble would be an absolutely ridiculous achievement! I am sure the player know
this and hopefully it can be extra motivation and confidence for the decisive games!

I think most of us are now thinking about the unthinkable.

Liga is looking good, CDR is doable albeit against a decent opponent. But defending the CL is going to be tough, make no mistake.BM, RM and PSG will all be desperate to win it.

As things stand, La Liga and CDR probably...... CL possibly.

100% yes. And that will be on top of previous triumphs under Pep and Rijkaard. Still a long way to go still, especially in the CL.

He's classy and modest man too while pep was a bit fake in his modesty and compliments.

Yes. Lucho is more down-to-earth and more genuine than Pep ever was/is. Not that I dislike Pep, but I prefer Lucho even more. He clearly has the best intentions for the club and the players. He understands that first of all is the club/players, then him.
