I honestly hope that he's going to stay for many many years...We can't change the manager after every 3-4 years

This is my feeling as well. I'd like to see a Barca team stick with a coach for a decade or more if possible. Obviously we've done amazingly well with this 3 seasons or less for Barca coaches but I believe continuity could help the team. Not so much for the star players but more for the youngsters and bench players. We won't always have better players than every other team so we'll have to rely on tactical brilliance and a firm strategy set in place to continue to win trophies after Messi and others leave. That won't happen if coaches keep being rotated. Yes Barca have their possession philosophy but there's a lot more to it than just possession.

Oh and how could Lucho being getting worn out from this? Isn't he supposed to be a marathon man?

i can understand lucho, if he leaves soon, it because of alot of pressure when you are a barca manager, just remember his first half of season and how almost every fan here was against him, also crowd on camp nou when was that conflict with messi, all stayed behind messi and leave enrique alone, when barca start be unstoppable, everyone was praising lucho, that is not the way you can keep one coach for long period, especially in barcelona when fans every season expect trophies and some times happens bad season.

He's one of the few men, who could go long term here. He's a strong character. But it's his life, he can do whatever he wants to. He has given us a lot already.

I have full respect for Lucho but he has to understand that there really is no other coach at this point to lead Barca like he did.

Even when we hired Tata, the fans wanted Lucho. He was always in our sights.

If he leaves I'm not sure how that would impact the star players. Players Like Neymar and Suarez were kept in a good leash with him around. What other coach could command respect like he did? Pep maybe but screw him. There really is no other one in my opinion. They are all taken by the top clubs.

It is a nice thought but the way the club works it is impossible, a president only has 2 terms of 6 years in charge, and that is if he is not voted out after the first term. When a new president is voted in he usually win because he claims he will change whatever was wrong (usually the manager gets sacked if he survive the president). Then you have cases like Guardiola who was Laportas manager and when Rosell came in and started to change things in the club (staff getting replaced with people close to Rosell, because in Spain it is practice to give positions to friends) Guardiolas days in the club were sooner or later going to end (this is how it works for all member owned clubs in Spain).

Basically it comes down to the frequent changing of presidents and to some degree the often over exaggerated media response to bad seasons, for example Van Gaal was sacked because of media negativity and changing of the president rather than because of sporting reasons.

Another issue in spain is the pressure on the managers at us and real madrid. Basically if your not winning the white hankerchiefs dont be long coming out. Dont forget how the fans were reacting during the first part of lucho's first season. But thankfully he got through it and wer now reaping the rewards

Or during the first couple of months of this season.

Not only then, remember the 3 straight draws? Valencia, Bayer, Deportivo?

Realistically speaking, the majority of Barca's and Real's fans are spoiled, impatient and arrogant. It comes with the territory of being a fan of these teams. A second place would be a fantastic success for most teams in almost every league but a second place is nothing but failure for Barca and Real. I mean just look at the forum sometimes. Even when we win comfortably usually the topic of discussion turns to the laziness of Messi, the arrogance of Neymar and who has the birth right to be the starting goalkeeper, Bravo or Ter Stegen.

I mean we give Madridista's a lot of shit for their Behavior when things don't go their way but from what I've seen Some Barca fans can be just as bad.

I mean we have our fair share of Drama on here but nothing as bad as I've seen on Twitter or other fanpages in general. when things don't go right way I noticed Lucho,Mascherano,Mathieu are constantly used as scapegoats by some portion of the Barca Fanbase.

I also want to point out how Hilarious some Commentators go on and on how "Barcelona are so Vulnerable at the back!" We have our share of issues at times but when was the last time we truly conceded more than two goals in one game? Sevilla in October?
