We lost 1-0 & 1-2, we are still incredibly hard to beat and I just can't see us dropping points in another 2 games, that would be 5 games in our last 9 if that were to happen. If we can get through Wednesday still in the Champions League then I think we will win the treble.
Isnt real madrid 4 points behind?

I trust Lucho and I am still not that worried about La Liga title
That said ,if we get past AM on Wednesday we still won't have a margin of error in Liga unless both Madrid clubs dropped points
That mean we won't be able to rest enough players b4 CL SF ties and that could end up badly for us .

What doesn't help is the lack of natural leaders in the team.Not just guys who lead by example, but guys who show passion and TELL others they are not doing enough when it's obvious to the fans there's a collective lack of effort.
I just don't see that now, Don may be club captain but he's no Puyol.If we had a more vocal capt/vice capt to bark a few orders when we are just going through the motions it would give us a kick up the arse on the pitch.
In hindsight I think Masche would of been a better capt.Given Lucho's support he would rip into Messi, Neymar et al when we play like it's a fucking testimonial.

If we do win the CL or treble, expect it to take a lot of luck. No way we dominate everyone like we did last season considering our recent form.
Anyway Lucho needs to drill into the players' heads that every game is now a final. Maybe having no more room for error will work in our favor.
Another thing that's in our favor is that lately, none of the other CL teams, particularly the other big names (Madrid, Bayern), have been that impressive either. The fact that the semi final could easily contain all of Atletico, Wolfsburg and Man City says it all.

poor lad.... He just cannot win, can he!? We win? Oh it's coz of MSN! We lose? He is starting to lose the goodwill!!
How can he lose the goodwill if it's MSN alone who won him the silverware I wonder!!
Basically the reason he does not remove Neymar when the team is losing is not coz he lacks cazones! It's because there's none on the bench who can come in for him and create an impact! Imagine we had Nolito! Now he would have definitely subbed him in in place of Neymar!!
If you want to blame anyone for the drop in form, blame the stupid international break and the board! All it did was bring in a hell of a lot of fatigue on an already wafer thin squad, which was because the stupid board didn't bother to listen to the coach who won us the treble!!
Having said that, if there's some thing that Lucho needs to be blamed for, it is for not trying either Arda/Vidal up front. I mean the reason Messi is moving into center is because of fatigue! And when he does, Alves gets that extra burden to provide the width in the right flank! And he is finding it hard to do his work in defense that way!! Now imagine Leo moving into mid field in place of Arda and Vidal providing width on that right flank!
All I want to say is: Don't blame Lucho for every thing! If anybody needs to be blamed for this drop in form it's the board for not bringing in the replacement he so wanted up front!!

i think only Messi and Alves came very late for classico and rest all players got rested enough still we lost that match.Many players got rested during same time period. Another thing is player can always refuse for international match if they want. I am not denying thin squad and poor decision from board are also one of the reason for current run but Coach Decisions & Strategy matters.
But coach is always responsible for team run. AM and leicester are prime example of optimum use of resources done by their coach. They work at fraction of budget what we have. if LE is so great then he can find/select players who have enormous potential with no reorganization so it will cost very less. It's not correct to always ask for signings when things went south.
It's coach responsibility to put fire under player and make them desire to win(Pep also had same problem during his last season). Yesterday's match it was clear indication. Except iniesta, nobody was trying to outsmart/outrun RS team.
Mark my words, this team is perfectly capable of treble again just need extra push on motivation,hunger & effort side.

I'd say being 10 points ahead of 2nd place is not the worst time to have a bad spell. We are still in control in La Liga, and ahead in CL. Waiting for Copa final as well. If anything, we are looking good in 3/3 competitions, even with this bad spell.
Team needs to recover though. We are still in control of this, we just need to act like it and show it on the field.

It was the wrong game to rotate, push the players through these 4 games el clasico to the return leg in Madrid, n then rest them for the home game against Valencia I think, our record against RS is way too poor to rotate there. Never the less we are basically 4 points again of atletico and 5 ahead of Madrid, with our better head to head, so we should win the league, we won't win the CL though I'm almost certain of that.

well if you get a situation where you have 7 league games to go, a lead of 7/8 points and a tired squad than probably the best games to rest players are those where the effort to success ratio is worst, which was clearly the game at Anoeta. Combine that with the game ahead on wed and it was probably a good call to rotate and calculate with a draw or loss.
