Luis Suárez

El Gato

Villarato!
He had the same horrible play on the ball in the WC. Was not even close to putting in consistently good performances for them. 64% pass success is even more atrocious than he does for Barca.

Think he's scored in like 1 Clasico since the start of 16/17 (which is when he went to shit), so yeah no you're quite wrong there too. Scores in the Copa? Gimme a break, weak competition.

Does it matter? You've improved in the support part around him. He won't even need to start most games this year with the amount of wingers you've got. What he still has is the clinical finish that nobody bar Messi possesses. And you want to have a chance of that showing up when it matters, even if it ultimately won't.

It's basically like Madrid fans watching Ronaldo's spells whenever he doesn't score. Relax.

Yeah he scores goals but his overall game play has decayed so much.

I'm sorry you cannot have both Suarez and Messi on the field anymore, this team cannot handle having two static forwards. Messi is messi and has other things to fall back on, with Suarez? nope outside goals he has nothing anymore.

Usually such rapid decline is caused by a bad injury. Suarez's case is a strange one.

It’s not strange at all. Look at him! When you get older you need to lose some weight in order to stay competitive (LeBron did that, Kobe did that etc...) and what has he done? He is fatter than ever!!!

You may call me delusional but I honestly think this is the main reason why he has declined so rapidly.

I would prefer a player who is 5 times not as clinical. He would create 5 chances and score 1 goals. While Suarez cannot even get into position to have a chance to shoot.

He scored in three classico's since the start of 2016-17 .
1) Camp Nou in 1-1 draw
2) Bernabue (3-0)
3) Camp Nou (2-2)

If some of you played football or any other sport you are for sure aware that every KG you gain affects your performance in every possible way. You are slower, you have no control over you body, your reactions are late, you get tired more quickly etc. If we can force him to lose at least 5 or 6kg he would improve for sure.

If we want some value from him, now is the right time to sell.

He still has some value left in him, instead of using that to win our matches (which are very few btw, in which he really delivers), it should be more useful in getting a good price.

Eto'o was sold, Dinho was sold, why not Suarez??
