I wish Valverde didn’t insist on letting him play 90 minutes every single game. He needs to hold him accountable for his performances. It's one thing for a player's passes, shots, or touches to vary a bit from match to match but I don't get how his speed, agility, and coordination can suddenly deteriorate when they were quite good in January. He was looking like a hungover 40 year old playing in thick mud for most of the match today.
