I actually felt bad for him missing that pen.
But it's amazing how much goodwill he's thrown away from that last couple of seasons. He's declined due to age, which isn't his fault. But what is his fault, however, is his refusal to adjust accordingly as he cannot do things he used to do during his early years at Barca, Liverpool, and Ajax. He keeps thinking that he can still do all this stuff yet he cannot.
His weight issues are a joke, he somehow cannot shed the weight where we need it the most but somehow he can lose 4 Kilos in time for Uruguay and be in the best shape in ages. His refusal to sit out games and then having the gall to go "I shouldn't have played that game" after shit went south in the CL. I mean if Fucking Messi can sit it out why can't Suarez can?
Dude also takes out his shitty frustrations out on the younger dudes such as Dembele/Malcom even though he was at fault for 95% of his problems. Dude has become such a toxic shithead and he is somehow surprised when fans call him out for his shit?

In liverpool everyone is so hardworking, in shape, sprinting for 90min, played 95min explosive late game winner against Southampton, while we were RESTING, and they still ran twice as much as we did against us, one of the most annoying things about Suarez is how /r/barca always calling him a "hardworker", lazy ass doesn't press, doesn't score, would get smacked on his scalp under a manager that isn't spineless, Messi needs to start making new friends.

Sad times we live in dawg when the idea of Suarez being a bench player is more arousing to my brain rather than this gourgeous chick being naked in front of me.

He signed in 2014, came good at the business end of 2014/15 after missing half of that season. Played well most of 2015/16. Has been shit mostly ever since. We haven't had the player Liverpool did. Like Neymar he won't go down as a Barca great. Neymar might at least get and take a second chance, Suarez can't because he's finished.

Can't get my head around a 33 year old and way past it Suárez continuing at the club (while being paid ludicrous wages) let alone being guaranteed a starting spot in the upcoming season no matter how badly he will perform. Truly depressing stuff even more so when either Griezmann or Dembélé (most likely the latter) will have to warm the bench for an extended period of time just to accommodate the dinosaur.
If his absolutely catastrophic statistics in the CL (since the 2015-16 season) did not speak for themselves and did not showcase our complete and utter reliance (offensively) on Messi to create his usual magic, I don't know what will be needed.
We will never even come close to winning the CL with Suárez in the starting lineup.
He is done at the top level. He might have and will have his occasional great game but that is about it. Not good enough to be our leading offensive outlet aside from Messi who is no youngster either to put it mildly and who much like Suárez does very little defensively.
