What an extremely lucky player. Started to drastically decline right after 15/16. Thanks to having played with the best player (and passer) of all time who created a shitton of chances for him, he scored loads of goals in La Liga despite overall performing like shit. Still misses more chances than any other top forward. Peak Eto'o would have scored just as many goals with mature Messi's service if not more, I assure you. Meh, he's never going to be as good as Eto'o for me despite all the goals that he's scored.

People bemoan lack of creativity etc but gloss over the fact that this muppet gives it away within a second for a past time. Get Griezmann in the middle ASAP. It is impossible now to have both Suarez and Messi on the same pitch you cannot play at intensity when teams get a free pass straight to the midfield. Teams press Barca's back line like crazy and in return we walk until the ball is in our midfield.

He is capable of the odd moments of Brilliance but he must be an impact player now.

The bottom line is though his minutes do not get managed. 4 years without an away goal in the CL has gone beyond relaxing now it's crying out for urgent change.

I've been a huge Luis fan since forever but it's now impossible to play possession football with him leading the line.


Passing the ball to him is basically the equivalent of driving into a cul-de-sac. A complete dead-end 95% of the time.


He scores goals, yes, but everything else now, even his work rate (that used to be insanely good) has now vanished.

It's been like that for a while it won't change now.

He was, but not anymore. Suarez lack of speed and therefore also loosing his first touch completly is what shows now.

Exactly. When he first joined Barca he was hungry and running, but he doesn't have the same workrate anymore. Kinda useless in many ways.
