Juventus playing Cristiano and Suarez upfront might have to be the slowest and the most 1995 front line possible.

So if he is going on transfer to Juve, why is he demanding 25m?

Doesn't add up, sounds like more media bollocks.

...

Oh but if he stays. There gonna be pain.

He wants the club to pay up 25m he would be owed... salary and signing bonuses.

Basically wants to make club pay for letting him go even if that decision benefits everyone involved.

Surely will in end take best decision for himself.

But it is a transfer. No one pays out the rest of a contract when transferred.

Only if he is released and then Juve sign up could he demand a fee for having his contract ended. Ir, two separate deals.

I dont understand them. They played slow boring football last 2 seasons because of old grandpas in their starting eleven and now they are buying Suarez, Ronaldo will be mad

No he would be going to Juve for free and is threatening to not sign until paid contract.

It makes no difference if released or signs for free. Suarez holds same power in either scenario.

I think there is a difference as one is a transfer meaning Juve are buying over the rights of the contract. Whether it is 1 dollar or 1 million. So Barcelona would have no liability in regards to the rest of his contract here.

Let's wait for the official reports though. I may be wrong.

There is no difference if both clubs agree no fee.

Either way Suarez has exactly same power in agreeing to leave for free.

That is only stumbling block.

They're just cocky. In the sense that they think Serie A is shit enough for them to be able to get away with having old goal machines upfront.

Wonder where that leaves Higuain. Dybala will be kept in rotation, but no way Suarez plays less than him.

Higuain has been released has he not?

Maybe same scenario in that still under contract and can go for free.

Higuain is gone. Suarez is his replacement.

don't know where this whole "he's not leaving until barcelona pays his 25M" thing is coming from.

why don't we sell for a symbolic sum - 1M? and let him negotiate with juventus.

my guess is that he wants the same salary for the season, which juventus don't want to match and barcelona don't want to contribute to(like juve paying 70% and barcelona 30%)

there might be a loyalty bonus involved also, which barcelona would have to pay if the player leaves through a transfer.
