Luis Suárez

Of course he's staying, lol.

I hope he'll get a Bale treatment so he'll decide to go to MLS in January.

How would anyone dare to do something like this to Suarez when his friend Messi is running the club?
The guy missed a week of training and called the president incompetent and a liar in an interview and Bartomeu didn't respond with anything.
Now you can imagine how little power a manager appointed by a president like this would have.

 oh what do you know.....

Messi AND Suarez both staying

In before they mismanage Suarez and play him in more than 60% of matches so he gets that extra year on his contract.

Let's hope people inside the club will have an actual look at this clause if he stays and let Koeman know the details (don't think he'll really care too much about this though as it's very likely he won't be here behind next season so won't be his problem anymore; If Suarez stays he'll probably play him as long as RK will think he adds something to the team or if a little dictator will decide so :messi:).

What does this 60% criteria really means? Will he need to play certain minutes (let's say at least one half) in those matches or is enough for him to just play 5-10 minutes to "qualify" for a clause in his contract to be extended. What happens if he gets injured again longterm in second half of the season but will play most of the games before that and so on. We don't really need another drama next summer because Suarez also won't know what actually stands in his contract.

Probably won't matter anyway because he'll easily play 80-90% of minutes when available so it will be enough to extend his contract but if Messi will leave next year he'll go with him (he might still want us to pay out that year of his extended contract though  ). And if Messi will stay one of his conditions before negotiating a new contract with a new president will be to extend Suarez's contract too so either way we're fu***.

Of course you are.I mean how much have we gone without a trophy?1 year. And many of you are already "going".It s easy to support a team when it s succesful. It s getting harder when we don t have success anymore. So btw, who ll replace Messi and Suarez's contributions?Suarez can go, but we still have to find a good striker.Who s a better striker than him and attainable atm?

Has nothing to do with trophies or success. Not bothered by not winning them every year.

Just cannot stand to watch Messi-Suarez up top for another year walking, dragging the team's work rate, tempo, pressing and defensive contribution down, while ALSO losing.

Losing is not the issue. Losing with the same lot of geriatrics is. We could win nothing, but play a team full of young, fit, hungry players pouring their heart out on the pitch and I would not miss a single match.

Same old drab is not worth my time.

I agree Suarez should go.Messi idk, he can still contribute, but i m not sure how up he ll be considering this situation.I want a new very good striker too.We also need at least 1 very good cb also. And practically a lb and rb too.The striker position is the hardest.I can t see any young good forward who s attainable in the market.
