Good for Atleti, fine. Simeone got the man he wanted for his specific setup.
His playing style was toxic for where Barca were and for what Barca want to do now.

Barca have scored most goals in the league and that is without a CF.
The attacking side of game is not the issue as much as defence.
Carrying Messi and Suarez was too much in forward line off the ball and way they both played as high risk wasnt working anymore and was only going to get worse.
Could argue if Messi had left keeping Suarez would have been better move but two of them together? Long done.

Mate, you're posting that bullshit stat about best attack in La Liga every other day now. It's pointless because it doesn't mean anything. We scored some 2-3 goals more against some bums that Atletico wins against with 1-0. The difference is that they do it consistently while we struggle for a goal in some games. Ask Real, they're in the same situation.
While our defense is shite, it could be a non-factor with a more ruthless attack.
Bumwaite or even Griezmann, don't cover their shitty finishing with the running and defensive contribution.

He frustrated the hell out of me at times but my god did we fuck up letting him go without replacing him. Yes him and Messi cannot co-exist for 90 minutes in the same team but he'd have finished off several of the chances we consistently balls up.
Only Bartomeu-era Barcelona could give our only pure 9 to a direct rival and not have a single replacement lined up. Depay is not the answer either, majority of his goals come from penalties he's no more prolific than Griezzy from open play.

Haha 'it doesnt mean anything' of course it does it shows Barca have scored more goals than any team in league so far. Barca score more consistently and Atletico defend better as I said.
Barca would be more efficient if defended better individually the goals have been there so far.
Messi and Suarez together was done. Correct to let him go and move on.
So 'ruthless' with Messi and Suarez last season won more points when didnt play together than when did...
