Luis Suárez

Its getting increasingly more difficult to put him above Lewandowski as the best striker of that generation.

Sure, Suarez had a higher peak, but Lewandowski has the consistency, and his record in the CL is much better than Suarez now.

Pretty much 14/15 was Suarez only real world class season in the Champions League, although he was a clinical finisher in 15/16 too.

Quite a lot of his prime years until he went to Barca were spent in the Europa League.

he peaked at liverpool, looked way more agile then

if i bring any striker heck any player from the second division team and play him next to messi there is no way he will not score a goal for 2300 o min thats 36
hours of playing. so to consider him the best striker in the world of his generation is absolutely ridiculous.

I think that ship has sailed, Suarez was a much better playmaker but like you said Lewandowski has the consistency and his peak years this and last season are probably very close to Suarez peak.
after this season he will be a 6 time Bundesliga topscorer (behind only M?ller and Messi in the top 5 leagues for most times topscorer)

Suarez of 2010-2017 was much better than Lewy ever was or will be. Remember his Ajax and Liverpool years as well as his heroics with Uruguay. Uruguay was in the final four at the 2010 World Cup and won Copa America in 2011. Lewy has great stats but if you take a closer look at his game and contributions, he is not as complete as people make him out to believe.

Now Suarez is a contactor. He is on the verge of offside and closes the cross. Barcelona does not play with shots. Atletico is his team, they give him this role. In Bar?a he would stand with Messi and would be his wall, what Alba, Pedri, Brait, Griezmann are doing now return the ball to Messi for a kick.

I agree, prime Suarez was different tier, especially peak Suarez between 2013-2016 was maybe the best striker of this generation.
