I don't get where will they play him, they already have Bale & Benzema who can play 9 & I guess Rodrygo is also a CF.
They have will have Hazard, Rodrygo, Vinicius, Asensio, Vasquez at wing, not to mention Mbappe might be there in 4-5 years.
I don't know what he sees in Madrid that Barca doesn't provide. In fact, he has higher/faster chance to become starter here than Real.

There is no available player right now who could be our next starting no.9 in the long term. So we could either buy Maxi Gomez (who would probably be our next Paco) or we might save the money and wait for the right opportunity. That's something I would do since i honestly don't see any other solution right now.

From the little I've seen him he looks like he can play as a forward for Barca. Jovic never really struck me as a Barca player for some reason. I think Felix has a higher footballing IQ which is essential for a Barca forward. I have always said that if Barca decides to replace Suarez then they might as well go for the real deal, and since Mbappe is impossible to get Felix (along with Sancho) looks like the second brightest teenage talents out there.
I think Barca should closely follow the development of Felix until the end of the season, and then determine if it's possible to convert him to a striker. As long as we manage to sell Coutinho, Umtiti, and Rakitic signing him and de Ligt will be viable.
