definitely not AMF, but he can handle CM with ease, he is too good to be just DM in future and you should acknowledge that

im always thinking that he should be DM for the rest of his career. i just cant understand why people are so fond of the idea that he should be more attacking in the future. and the other thing is that i don't personally like him further up the pitch to be honest, he loses a lot of his composure every time ive seen him playing there. thats not his comfort zone IMO.

well composure is what you learn when you play more in that position, he already has all the tactical knowledge so it´s only up to him how he can deal with it, football is about experimenting, who knows what would Messi be now if he stayed on wings

its not that messi always played on the wing before pep. he was playing centrally at la masia and with argentina too. i just can't see busquets playing there. the current position is the best for him imo

No, not AMF but he does have what it takes to play as CM.

But he's not the pass and move, pass and move player like Xavi - which is important to keep the game moving forward. He's more a first time pass kind of guy. I think that is suited for DM role more. Putting him further ahead would also mean a waste of his defensive abilities, unless Barca make changes to the way they play. I think he can play CM at other clubs but not at Barca.

And yeah, Messi actually always has been a central playmaker/attacking midfielder. However, when he broke into the first team, that spot was already taken.

Cesc could probably copy Iniesta one day if he develops a brain.

If anything he could possibly play Xavi's role one day (although I doubt he'll manage). He doesn't have the agility, dribbling skills or ball control to ever copy Iniesta.

You never know with Mourinho, but I doubt Modrić will play at all, let alone much. He hasn't been in full training for almost a month. Although, I must say, just how cool would it be to get signed by RM and to have an El Clasico as your first game? Too bad they're gonna lose, though.
