Luka Modrić

I have yet too see him play well with national team.

No offense but your NT coach is kind of dumb. He has Rakitic and Modric but played them out of position during the World Cup when they should have been providing football art between the 2 of them.

Modric may be the best midfielder in the world right now.

None taken. He's not up to the task, at least not with his experience.

Kovač is clueless. Now that I think of it, he reminds me of Lucho and his questionable decisions for which he thinks he doesn't need to explain himself and acts all badass about it.

3-4 months out, there goes the title, hope we get lucky in the cl, Modric might be back when we have to face one of the best, Bayern etc.

What? Yesterday they were saying 4-6 weeks? Did it suddenly become that many months now?

As long as Ronaldo & Co. can outscore your opponents, you won't miss him.

Plus, Real Madrid probably will probably get someone in the January transfer window should Modric be out for that long.

Damn tough break from him. I thought it looked like a hip flexor injury when it happened live by the way he was holding his upper leg/ hip area, quad tear is pretty close. Sorry for him. Hope he recovers well.

That sucks, best of luck in his recovery. I wonder if he made it worse by playing on for a while after he first fell down in pain following that pass he did... Have to think if collapsing in pain twice could mean the difference between an 8 week recovery and 4 month one. Perhaps not the best decision ever.

Such a joy to watch him play, even if it is for Madrid. Sucks that he's injured. It will be interesting to see how they get on without him. A chance for Illara to finally show his worth?
