Kovacic and Isco aren't that worse than Gomes and Denis.

Isco and Kovacic are solid replacements, they aren't exactly worse than Gomes and Denis...

I'm not sure what Isco and Kovacic has to do with Denis and Gomes. Last I checked, the two aforementioned are at Real and the two latter at Barça.

Modric had knee/muscle problems while still at Dinamo Zagreb, his high work rate over the years and his age are doing their thing.

He is was asking for contract renewal this year and with the string of injuries he has been having im not sure RM will give him the money he wants.
