Not really a Lupe fan but I'd still rate him higher than Weezy. Wayne just had some hot records and created a buzz for himself. Credit to him for that and selling shit loads, but people talk about him like he's right up there, pleeeease. Lyrically he's garbage plenty of the time, there are a lot of better MCs out there.

Also, lil wayne is a crap rapper, 'i roar like a dino-saur' or some chit, i mean please, he's crap, he's a little pop gay who talks about his hookers and his babes when he's a joke who just a mainstream idiot. Lupe is an amzing lyracist, even Jay-Z sais that he breaths a breath of fresh into rap as he flows like all the legends did, there is only a couple still out there who can really rap like champions.

I don't really see how people can't rate Lupe, for me he has flair, is reflective, intelligent, original and most of all perhaps the most eloquent of any rapper. only american terrorist is his only bad song over 2 albums, and thats more preference because its not terrible.. i have quite a few of his mixtapes which are mostly class. few more albums and he deserves to be right up there..

of my list of favourite rappers ive seen common, mos def, talib, plan b but gutted to have missed the roots and akala last year due to being poor. if i miss immortal technique next time he is here i will hang myself.

Lil Wayne isen't even a rapper, he's a pop singer just like T-Pain.

None of them are even top5.. Lupe has sick flow but you need more to be in the top.
Jay-Z, Tupac, B.I.G kill Lupe anyday. Master P, Nas all legends..

lol true Lupe Fiasco is a down to earth intelligent guy his lyrics make sense and above all the guy is a G there's no one else on his level.
He doesn't release singles like some of other rappers who do so every other week it seems.U won't even hear some of Lupe's songs if u don't search around a bit.Drake is slowly becoming like him too, Drake will eventually out grow Young Money im sure.

those shouts he does at every song really ruins all. he made a few really really good songs like A Millie. That isen't his own voice, he autotunes it, hence why i called him a pop singer. also, he's not the best lyricist(he doesn't write all his songs)
