Ever since two pac and Biggi died, he become bigger and bigger back in the day who the fuck was Jay-z he was this random rapper who walks around in khiki shorts.

those shouts he does at every song really ruins all. he made a few really really good songs like A Millie. That isen't his own voice, he autotunes it, hence why i called him a pop singer. also, he's not the best lyricist(he doesn't write all his songs)

There's some many and his two latest songs with Erykah Badu and Drake his lyrics if you listen to them speak of comon since issues, i dont get it when people say his lyrics don't mean anything they mean a lot if u listen and understand him along with Lupe Fiasco Kanye West and Drake.
His latest album rebirth is also amazing he's using his love for Nirvana's music to bring a new dimension to rap.There's not one bad track on Rebirth its amazing the consistancy of the songs is like a James Morrison album.

Franco, i agree to an extent. Jay-Z has always been about following where the money goes, he aint like Mos who sticks to his underground guns. You can not deny though, he is an amzaing rapper. Stealing Weezys? Huh? Weezy doesn't even write his own stuff and Drake has been accused of writing Weezys raps and being the 'ghost writer'. Also Kanye? Kanye can't rap for crap, look at his rapping thign with Mos on youtube, he uses his own songs and has no flow.

I am with Lemmi, I just don't understand how people do not rate Lupe. Thing is with Lupe what I love about him the most is that he is so smooth. When I put on my MP3 player, he can deliver a message without too much effort. His voice is easy on the ear drums, his nerdyness is admirable, his imagination is second to none and his over all production of songs are quality.
You can be anywhere, doing anytihng, and listen to Lupe, not something I could say about any other rapper out there.
He revolutionized rap in the last decade, he touched on social and political issues without sounding bitter, he has written love songs without being cheesy and embraced his inner nerd, he has spoken thanked his fans so smoothly, and for the first time, and his religious messages were short and impeccable.
Kanye west is a big fat nerd who tries to be cool, Lupe fiasco is so cool being a nerd.

As far as lyrics go Kanye's and Weezy are the best don't even get it twisted but there's nothing amazing about Jay-Z i even rate Trey Songs higher.
Jay-Z has the same rap style 4 every song its as if he's tone death or something. There's not a track on Rebirth that Weezy didn't right himself that's why it took so long to be released. Fine some of his singles are written my other young money artist but that's to be expected he's the CEO drake on the other raps about his life.
If there anybody with no flow its Jay-Z his video's maybe great but that's about it.Have u herd one of Weezy latest Calibrations this time with Jay Sean here's the video and some other Weezy Drezzy and Lupe songs that i love.
