The much Malaga invested this season, they should easily reach Europa League. They are the Man City of La Liga
How much did they invest?
Not that much to be honest. € 58 million alltogether. Most expensive player was Cazorla for € 21 million.
If you're not being sarcastic, it's quite much actually..... for an arguably mid-table team like Malaga.
Well, all relative of course. Compared to other "sugar daddy" clubs like Chelsea and City they didn't run riot on the transfer market. € 21 million as the maximum spending for a single player is quiet reasonable. Plus: mid-table or not. The fees are being paid by the owner who got the money in his pockets, not by the table rank.
Quiet amazed they missed on Klose by the way and went for RvN instead. The latter is pretty much finished. While Klose desperatly needed a club to advertise himself for the Euro Cup next year in his home country Poland. And he does very well for Lazio currently ...
I had a dream Malaga beat Madrid last night, and then we beat Sevilla.
Come on Malaga!
