he has a great attitude, cant really ask for more. even when he was unfairly thrown to the stands he still kept working hard.

did anyone see EVs face when he scored tonight? i was suprised the camera on my game didn't cut straight to him

Great game from him. Unfortunately he is one-dimensional player who can play ONLY on the right side. His can't even pass the ball with his right foot. Because of that he won't have many chances here. Messi plays mainly on the right side and Malcom can't perform on the left. Even when he tries to dribble he always goes left. I like his attitude though.
Why we cant play messi behind suarez and malcom at the right

Glad to see he did great. For once he was in a decent lineup, and not with some sort of half assed B team. Changes a lot. Hope he'll get more chances like that. Should boost his confidence.

Guess it's another thread BBZ won't visit for awhile. Seems the coach was not seeing Malcom properly in training.

What do you expect as a reply?
Omg, what a player, he bought a ticket and he will stay here for the next 10 years?

Majority of players at Barca are actually world class players and have 100s of virtues.
The worst midfielder in universe Gomes is a key player at Everton.
A waste of space Rakitic played a WC final.
A crap Roberto will have magical solo moment like against Psg or 2:3 vs Real.
Vidal who can't create will lead his teams to Copa America's titles.
An average attacker Paco will boss at Dortmund etc.

My point: we paid 41m for Malcom and he plays for a Brasilian Nt team, lol.
Of course that he has some skills, good sides and that he will have good matches.

That still has nothing to do with a question whether he is good enough for Barca and whether we should sell and try a different option.

One more time, what do you expect from me?
Omg, I was wrong, EV was wrong, Malcom deserves a spot here?

If he'll repeat this 10 times, I will say it.
If a good match will come here and there, then I won't.
But then, you'll again say that he plays hot and cold only due to a stupid Ev, so why bother?

Players of his age and potential would want more than just being bench players. And I'm not sure he is good enough to ever be a starter at Barcelona with Dembele also on his position.

Or bench players can be used correctly. A bench player like Malcom could easily start 25-30 games per season and come in as a sub in another 25 games.

I mean let's take 4 players (Suarez, Messi, Dembele and Malcom) and 4 consecutive games.
Do you guys realize that each of these 4 players can be a starter in 3 of those 4 games ?

1st game: Dembele-Suarez-Messi start. Malcom comes second half.
2nd game: Malcom-Suarez-Messi start. Dembele comes in second half.
3rd game: Dembele-Messi-Malcom start. Suarez comes in second half.
4th game: Dembele-Suarez-Malcom start. Messi comes in second half.
5th and 6th game: start the best trio.
Repeat the same stuff in the next 6 games and start best trio in most difficult games.

That would be huge playing time for each and everyone of them. Messi and Suarez are getting old, this kind of rotation would benefit them a lot.

And it's not a problem that both Malcom and Dembele prefer right wing. Dembele showed already that he can be great at left wing. Plus if both of them start as wingers, they can switch as much as they want during a game. That's actually an advantage.

PS: Coutinho as LW should be a done thing.

You can tell us how many coins he earned today :pep:

2-3 in EV's eyes.
He has 3-4 coins in total now.

If he'll play meh, he will lose them fast.
Dembele has earned his coins.
Coutinho has a lot of coins due to a 160m transfer and his Liverpool's career.

All in all, for Malcom to raise his number of coins, he will need to play well every time he plays.

He is still the 5th choice in attack.

How many coins does Rakitic have? Just... wondering.

Also played on his preferred right. Which was nice. He struggles badly on the left, imo.
