No, I actually agree about the athleticism and pace of the EPL. I just value technique far far higher. It's personal preference again , like the Federer Nadal debate, I would take technique over pace and power every day of the week as the better barometer of talent and skill.

True EPL did well in Europe this year but if that is the barometer then given what La liga has done the last 10 years in Europe then unquestionably it is the strongest league OF ALL TIME.

There's no doubt the Spanish league was dominant, before then the English league was a little on top and before that the Italian league but don't forget the Spanish league had two of the best players in history, if not the actual two best players for all that time.

I agree it is personal preference and due to the fact there aren't very many good midfielders around it doesn't help the teams/leagues that rely on technique but I'm sure that will change again. It always does.

Alot of clubs missed a trick by not buying Malcom. 45 million in today's market is peanuts. I'm surprised a Utd, Everton or even Spurs didn't buy him.
