We already knowed :p. The only good thing is that PSG got rid of him, other than that i can't see him improving.. But yes the price is ridiculous for him.

Well I read medias said 19M this morning bonus included. But It's actually 19M without bonus. And 23M when included.

Just confirming things ^^

And yeah, I don't see him improving at all. And i see him ending up benched in the next 3 months max. He can kiss the world cup goodbye.

You never know though. Maybe he somehow starts to perform again without having his attitude issues.

Same can be said for other players but with IF you don't make any point. You can't pay so many money for someone like him to just wait IF he performs... this word doesn't exist in football, current form matters.

I never said he was worth the amount paid for him...... I only responded to Bertus' post that he might start to do well at Liverpool.

How good is he? A scouse friend today was mouthing off about how good of a deal it was, i havent really watched him but if PSG let him run his contract down i wouldnt think he was that good.

Bad attitude, been horrible in most matches.

Bertus can probably tell you in detail.

Great signing.

Physically and technically superb. He can improve tactically.

With encouragement and entrustment from Rodgers he'll be a beast of a centre back.

Bad attitude. He can't handle competing with other CBs. And he tends to like complaining in the medias as if he was a victim.

Bad on the field. Slow and bad placement. He's not calm enough too, and as a result, he tends to just do clearing shots every times he gets the ball in defence.

PSG only used him a lot because of other Cbs being out or injured

Technically superb? It what world are you living. I am a PSG fan who follow every match, and he's nowhere technically superb, stop the drugs.

And since he became big physically he's slow and even Alex who's big too got better jumping ability. Bad trade because he was better before he got 10kg of muscles.

He has better chance to end up benched by next december and to throw a tantrum in british medias over how he's too good to be benched, "he" the great Sakho.

But if his transfer makes you happy, good for you. PSG is very happy to have got 23M euros in return.

Bad attitude because Silva wants his mate to partner him at the back.

I'd have a bad attitude if in my workplace my colleague kept overlooking me to give his compatriot promotions or other perks..........

Not true at all.

When he arrived till the beginning of last season, Carlo took the time to evaluate the players. That's why he changed his starting team so many times. He did it so much that even Nasser and leo started to dislike it.

All in all, Carlo said why he chose Alex when he was available instead of Sakho : because Alex is the better player and since Sakho is young, he should train and improve and compete with Alex when given the chance (and he had numberous times to try to prove he's better and failed horribly. He played +30 matches and didn't do better than Alex). What he refused to do because he thinks he's the best. It's not his job to evaluate himself, it's the coach's job.

Blanc made the same choice and so far he's quite right since Alex is consistent, while sakho is not. Marquinhos is the complete opposite of sakho. The dude wants to compete and prove himself every times he will be given the chance. And just like Sakho he wants to join the world cup, but he knows he has to prove he's good. Marquinhos is training a lot. Sakho was slacking while thinking he's better, here was his problem.

Now as an observer who watched all the matches, i did the same choice, Alex is better.

- Both are slow
- Alex is better in the air
- Alex is a threat for the opponent team on every corners and free kicks, while sakho has always horrible placement on most of them.
- Alex has better placement
- Alex doesn't do clearing shots, he actually tries to make decent passes, including long passes.

But yeah, sakho is a victim because TS is a bully. Sure.

That's what everyone is wondering in french medias and on every PSG forums.

He left psg because he doens't want to compete. He wants to be a starter thinking he'll join France team for the world cup just because of that.

And then he leaves for a club with the same intense competition.

He makes no sense. In line with his performances on the field.

Bertus, didn't Makelele criticize Sakho?

EDIT: Found something,
"Of course you want to know that you're important, but sometimes you have to remain silent."

"Mamadou has reached a level when he cannot act like a child and ask for affection. He is a professional."
