1. Puyol-Actually cared about this match, defended with the heart of a lion and the strength of a bear, but was unable to save us 
2. Iniesta-Ghosted around, trying to create something with his excellent dribbling but not enough support
3. Messi-Dangerous most of the game, although faded in the second half
Honorable mentions-Xavi, Alba, Pedro
Ultimately, our loss came down to four things; pretty poor refereeing, Busquets and Fabregas having off days, Pique red card, and Lady Luck stacking up against us.

1. Puyol - I thought he was immense. While chaos reigned around him with Pique being sent off and Mascheran & Alves being poor, he tried everything as always to keep Sociedad out. Thats why he's captain.
2. Xavi - Set up the attack for 2nd goal and generally led the midfield as Fab & Busi had a poor night.
3. Messi - Just for his first half, he was dangerous and had so many efforts, however if it was for second half he'd be about 7th Im sorry to say.

SO hard to choose based on a half of good performance. Here goes anyway.
1. Pedro - Tried hard all day long, unlucky with the post shot but eventually got his goal.
2. Messi - scored in his 10th straight la liga match equaling the record, nuff said.
3. Dani Alves - thought he played well today, was all over the pitch in typical Dani fashion, the best of a very suspect defense.
