And I find it funny that if Rooney didn't mind sitting on the bench he'd probably be a good backup for Benzema. Horrible first touch, but otherwise the right profile of a player to play 3rd fiddle for RM. Not the right attitude or motivation either though.

We had a good backup last season, we didnt keep him for some reason.
