I would rather we played the youngsters in Wilf, Adnan, Jesse etc instead of those passionless fucks we saw yesterday, trophlyess for 3-4 seasons? so what, i am sick to death of seeing us play a striker who cant score (welbeck) a winger who cant play football(young) and Valencia who is about as inconsistent as it gets.

We do not approach games with belief any more, we have creative players like Nani, Kagawa, Adnan, Zaha and a striker in Chicharito to finish off those chances, yet we stick with young and welbeck surprise surprise we dont have a shot on target until the 60th minute.

Just curious did you see ashley young yesterday? He literally had no one marking him, even the city players realised he was shit, how can an unpredictable Zaha be worse than that? Or better yet a proven international player in Nani?

United fans have to explain to me why on earth Welbeck is so highly rated and gets into the England team when he rarely fucking scores. How the hell is he starting ahead of Hernandez? Don't tell me it's because of this bullshit mentality creeping into football recently where strikers who rarely score but work hard are higher valued and picked first, because if so then football is doomed.

You might as well play a defender upfront instead the way things are going.

It's because it's Alex Ferguson's Manchester United.

There are some people ignore the fact Manchester United have a lot of aging players, and some highly rated players who can't deliver at the end of the day when Alex Ferguson was still in charge of Manchester United.

Notice when Manchester United was trophyless at the end 2011/2012 everyone was so surprised but never questioned Alex Ferguson's squad and Alex Ferguson himself?
The man is a legend, and you can see with his presence Man Utd becomes a totally different team, but the man have his faults as well(no offense).
I don't get it why everyone's so surprised.
Even those true United fans know it has been a problem for awhile now, only those bandwagoners are complaining about Moyes ruining the club(it's still the beginning of the season..) AND keep on complaining on not getting Ozil and wonder why Welbeck is suddenly shit on every social media!

Let's face facts; the media and fans have overrated a lot of things. Little did they know, the problem has already started to become a nuisance.

Again, my apologies United fans for the rant.

Stating the absolute obvious hardly qualifies as a rant...even fergie knew how the team was struggling because of players with no technical ability..Thats why he played Rooney on the right to accommodate kagawa..and I think the reason welbeck is picked because Moyes believes that if he can start finishing well he can be the ultimate striker and he is technically decent enough and his incompetents are just the result of mental weakness.....I don't agree with this assessment but this is the only explanation other than moyes is losing it

United doesn't look and isn't the same dangerous team that it used to be. Most of the line up is filled with overrated average players and the aging Ferdinand- Vidic. You can't look forward continuing with an injury prone defender who is 31 years and Ferdinand who is 34, i can't believe how United never looked for decent replacements, Phil jones? Smalling? you can't be a big team with those kind of players. And of course the already known average and overrated as hell Ashley Young, Valencia, Welbeck Cleverly who just can't deliver what most people want from them. Van Persie is injured, play Rooney as CF, after all it's his main position and give Kagawa a chance or play Hernandez. What's the logic behind continuing playing Welbeck who can't do his main job that is scoring? not to mention that overally he's bad. I think that Moyes is afraid of changing major things atm because of critics but it's a fact that this team is losing their best as the time comes.

Yeah. It isn't really a rant. But you got to remember Moyes comes from Everton. Maybe he isn't good enough to manage the club? Or maybe what Meitux said.. This team has changed a lot in years..

Did Rooney lose weight? It looks like he did. He looks like he's in great shape again. He's so quick now. Reminds me of the Rooney you saw back in 2004.

He's even dribbling now again, with great succes as well.

I don't think he lost any weight, but there was some comments from Moyes where he suggested he thought he'd gone a bit soft under SAF, and he'd told him to bring the aggression and directness back.

He's scored 8 in 18 for England, mostly from wide positions. He doesn't score for United because of the way they use him. When he's wide for them it's in what looks a lot like a 4-4-2 and they use him like their own version of Milner, and when he play up front it's usually because Rooney or RVP are injured, and he's basically a target man for them to play off. If you watch him for United, he's always looking for the pass before the net.

Man United have a better squad then what they had for the past 3 seasons. I think they had the edge cause of fergie. I mean they would go to a cl final playing giggs and park , like come on now? atleast now they have rvp, that afro guy and they have kagawa and adnan. Plus smalling and one of those twins have matured . Fergie had his own witchcraft that he used to get the best out of these guys. Moyes doesnt seem to have it.

Lack of creativity from our midfield doesn't help either....most of our goals are scored because of absolute brilliance of RVP and tenacity of Rooney..welbeck would be better off in a possession oriented team like chelsea..He's definately the kind of player mourhino loves....

lol Chelsea a possession oriented team................. really............

But IMO, Welbeck deserves the England spot. Everytime I've seen him play striker for them, he seems to always impress me. Then again, the England squad isn't really that impressive............ It's really mostly because of Rooney and RvP that keep him staying put. I really think he's definitely one of the more talented players on the squad though.

I can see why Kagawa doesn't start. He's just simply not a player for Man U. I keep getting flak for this, but I still think he's definitely a player suited for a team like Barcelona or a team that actually doesn't want him to run full speed and challenge a defender 1v1. He has great and fast vision. He always tries to move the ball. His first option is always short. His first touch never makes him run but instead gives him space for a pass. He was a standout for Borussia Dortmund with their extremely fast (but sexy) play. But at least they keep the ball on the ground and rely on intricate passing. He's a player with midfielder characteristics that plays behind a striker. He'll succeed in a team where the ball stays on the ground and where the first option is pass instead of 1v1 vs. a defender. I think he'd succeed as a CM in the Barcelona 4-3-3 too as our CMs don't impose their game physically whereas he has to in the Man U system.

Maybe possession oriented was not the right word to describe chelsea but welbeck would do well in teams that create clear cut chances not crosses that flash by .......He lacks the reflex that chiracito and RVP have...I was thinking about players chelsea had not how their manager implements them:facepalm1:
when i described them as possession oriented although they lack the central midfielders to complement the talent of the front 3 players.........

After Cesc rejected their approach, English club Man United made this summer a 13M bid for Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto (21). [latdp]

Sorry if this shits on the thread, but this is too funny.

You sure? It looks like he did. Many people on redcafe have also been saying this. He looks so much quicker, he's even outpacing fullbacks again.

EDIT: Oh well, weight loss or not, he's been fantastic this season.
