Appalling substitutions. What was moyes playing at? We was playing at fucking home not at the nou camp. Januzaj signing 5 year deal is the best news we have had since may atleast.

I was against Moyes appointment from day one although I really like him as a person his tactics are from stone age...Fergie was no tactical genius either but he had balls and he acknowledged his tactical deficiencies by hiring tactically sound assistants and coaches.....I think Moyes should be given until Arsenal match and if we lose that match he should be sacked.....

Its not like we have a devine right to be the best team in england and win every game, but damn did he buy poorly. It is worrying though no manchester united manager should defend a 1-0 lead, that was honestly the first game of the season i would say was Moyes fault. You would give until November? I dont know man we want to be careful going down that road, could do more harm than good. Me personally, would let him see out the season.

But the consequence of finishing outside top 4 is really frightening and If I was the owner I wouldn't take that chance...We have decent players and we should be doing better than this..Southampton are tough side but we don't look like favorites in any match and needed wonder goals from Janujaz to beat Sunderland in our last match....Arsenal match would be a good benchmark to know whether Moyes has what it takes....

All valid points, though its early we are only 8 games in. A correct benchmark would be Man city who are playing nearly as bad as us. Arsenal still have there long time manager with the same backroom staff, and just tripled there club record to bring one of the best players in the world.

We have a less experienced manager now, but the same team that had the horrible midfield defincies, and bought poorly.

Man City are nowhere near as bad as we are...They are just 3 points off the top and they played us off the park..I just think that if we are to sack Moyes we shoud do so before the transfer window opens...We will not attract the kind of players with uncertainty surrounding managers future...

Southampton are a good team with a very good manager so let's give them a bit of credit for the point they got.

But yeah I still expect Man U to pick us points soon and climb the table. But under Moyes they won't win the league.

Yeah we struggled last year against them as well, its the tactics and subs that's the problem and this happened with Sir Alex as well not just moyes, we take off the players performing well or are vital in keeping the ball its really disheartening though seeing a defensive change and struggling to keep a 1-0 lead at old trafford it really is. Nobody, especially not myself expected Moyes to win the title in his first season, even second, i have to be honest i am surprised people want him sacked already 8 games in its like no one remembers what happened before.

I don't think it's that unreasonable. It's not that he's done poorly, it's that there doesn't seem to be much improvement. If things carry on the way they are then you could conceivably miss out on top four, let alone a title.

It was always going to be hard replacing Fergie but the problem with Moyes is his backroom team are really average....I can't find a single reason to give him time if things don't improve because there is no sign of a long term vision or project...He just looks like deal with one match at a time guy and for that kind of Manager results are everything....Fergie was given time because there was low expectation and everyone at the club was aware of his long term plan and his work on Academy...

It was always going to be tough against Southampton but by now most teams know that pressing is our achilles heel and we need to adapt our tactics to play against such teams....First thing I'd do is Change the Formation to 4-2-3-1 and play Kagawa Rooney and Janujaz behind RVP.....plus Fellaini should be below Cleverly in the Pecking order.......

I think that would upset Rooney. He wouldn't be happy with RVP having the limelight for himself.
He was upset about playing as central midfielder..no 10 role in a 4-2-3-1 formation is not too different from what he's already doing..Moyes has already given up on Young and Valencia so the change in formation wouldn't be too drastic....It would also allow us to target the likes of Draxler who could easily fit in in such system.........
