The problem is nobody knows what role it is....I'm guessing he was at Bayern game to check out their formation....4-1-4-1 is the only formation that will enable us to play our technically superior players......Rooney and Kagawa behind RVP with Adnan/Valencia and Mata on the wings will make our team look full of world class players....but we need an excellent defencive midfielder to have even a remote chance of making it work.......we'll essentially be 3 man short when defending if we start with Mata,Kagawa and Adnan in the same team.....

You need to play him in his best position or you'll be wasting him tbh. He's wasted on the wings unless he's just starting the matches there and is allowed to roam centrally.

There's no way he's starting in no10 role if both Rooney and RVP are fit.....He could be used as an attacking midfielder in Diamond formation but I'm worried about his defensive work rate...
