I fail to see how that's relevant, as I doubt there's anyone in here who wants to count on them for the next season.

Yes, nobody count on them for the next season (I still think Munir could have a future in Barça though but we need to loan him for 2 seasons first) but they are here this season and we had to count on them a lot in first half of the season when Messi was injured. And I think we'd have been better with an experienced, yet unproven player in top leagues like Soriano than two unexperienced and unproven youngsters.

Nolito's comment during a press conference over reports during the January transfer window

"People have said that I pretended to be injured to move to Barcelona. It hurts me to my heart to have to deny things like this. I am a Celta player and I belong to Celta; if anyone wants to sign me they have to talk to Celta and if the club thinks the offer is acceptable, they have to tell me and I have to decide."

"Even my mother called me to ask me about it. I told her that I was focused on training and playing. If I ever leave Celta you know I’ll be the first one to say something. I’m not the one who’s in charge."

Nolito on Radio Marca last night

News: "I've heard things that I don't like, that Celta have punished me, that I was feigning injury... Some stupid things have been said".

Offers: "In December I had offers from England, China, Russia, Dubai... But I'm happy at Celta and I want to play in the Euros. The Celta president told me that he wouldn't sell me. I said to him that's just fine by me".

Barça: "The president spoke with me in January and said that Barça would pay half for me now and the rest in June. He said that there was no way that he'd sell me. I told him that's fine by me. If Barça pay my buy-out clause, they wouldn't be able to say no, I'd have to go".

Extending his contract at Celta: "Improve my contract? It wouldn't be bad. It's on hold at the minute. Celta don't agree with a commission for my agent".

Ahead of the Real Madrid match: "I'm feeling better than I had hoped. At the Bernabéu we've got nothing to lose, we'll try to compete".

I think he would be a good signing for us, he is experienced, would accept his role and has shown he is capable of our playing-style. Only worry is, that we would still need a CF-backup - I don't think we should try to make him adapt to a whole new role as number 9 when needed, and maybe two backup-players gives too less playing time to each?

I would be disappointed with Soriano - it must be possible to get players proved on a higher level, although the cheap price and acceptance of backrole is crucial.

So the guy that our board "did everything possible" to sign in Jan is now going to join Milan.

The joke never runs out for Braida and Robert does it?

Guess the club sees Denis as the backup LW, which is fair enough. I do think if we had a player whose best/first position is LW, we'd be rest Neymar more just by him (Nolito) being here. But all of that is down to Lucho anyway.

Oh my God.... It seems like so much of a trend that we are actually turning into Milan! They were also extremely dominating Europe for a while before the president started becoming a miser and only spent on oldies while shipping out the youngsters!

Scary stuff!!
