This, right here, shows what is wrong with Barcelona fans. The instant a player doesn't win the ball every time it ends up in hishalf, the instant a player makes one mistake, people treat him like he's "completely lost it" and will never be good again. If he didn't make the four or five mistakes which were actual mistakes (not the other dozen which people deemed as mistakes even though they weren't), he would be having a great season. As it is, he's having a good season anyway, there is no way a team can go 10 games unbeaten and have a CB who "sucks", football simply doesn't work that way, if that were true even Thiago Silva couldn't prevent us from conceding goals. The fact is, Pique has been decent to good this season, making silly mistakes or misjudgments of when to slide in every now and then, but for the most part being he's been just fine. His distribution is easily the best from anyone in our back four, even Mascherano, his passing and reading of the game is still great, the only reason people don't like him is because he's not one of those defenders who wins the ball in a 1 vs. 1 situation, and that apparently makes him a bad defender.
