He won't allow that and nobody in the club has the balls to do it. He will reach the amount of games that he has to play to extend his contract and he will be our starting #9 even in 25/26. We have seen it many times with the amigos but at least they were our legends and gave a lot to the club, what did Lewa do for us to deserve such treatment?

Yeah. The club should have thought about getting a striker who can rotate with him instead of binning Roque after realizing he dribbles exactly as he did in Brazil.

Now realistically, unless the Girona reject has a mammoth season, we will have no option but to hit Lewy renewal clause.

It is also they are in a position where he is still the best CF they have and should play those minutes... he probably is the best CF in league if ignore Mbappe which is a scary thought of how bad a lot of La Liga is.

Out scored in league by top names.. Sorloth, Doybk and a midifielder last season and one more goal from open play than an old Budimir I believe.

Paying superstar money on the books for it as well.

If you only look at goals scored (and even then he was very underwheming), not overall game. It's true that quality of attackers in this league (actually everywhere) is abismal but current Lewa is not the best in the league if you watch his overall game. Would prefer somebody who maybe scores less but can run, press, open space, can keep ball, can complete a simple pass... Victor could be that if he got the chance but he won't get it.

The biggest issue is his salary and his demands that he plays all minutes and bitches everytime some kid doesn't pass to him. We would all be fine with him on a minimal wage and coming of the bench like Modrić (who even now is 10x the player Lewa is). It's the same thing as CR7 at United or Suarez in his last seasons here.
