how fast is he? I haven't watched enough Barça B this season.

I mean I figure he's no Bilal, but I mean, how quick across the ground is he?

Decent for a CB, but he's no Mathieu. His strengths (from what I've seen) is his technique and his calmness. He's classy.

A decent guy that will hopefully get game time next season or hopefully at the end of this season. He has deserved his spot and should prove to be a great player for the club in the future.

Hi, its me..
This Wednesday, Marc Muniesa signed his automatic contract extension which was included in the contract that he signed last season - February 15th, 2011. The Barça B player will move up to the first team next season.

Tbh, Muniesa will be great but will Pep play him? He has potential and when he has experience he will indeed be a Carles Puyol but he needs the experience and hopefully he will get the game time next season, not just the first few Copa games but also agianst the less talented teams. Barca need a defender/s and playing these kids in games will be a big boost for the club.

Overmars has confirmed this morning that Ajax is interested in Muniesa as replacement for Vertonghen.

Never seen him play to be honest. Anyone can tell more about him?

So far, he has had very little playing time with the first team. I don't recall any first team play at CB, all at LB. He has done fine, though he has not been memorable compared to the rest of the talent on the squad. Like all those promoted to the first team at Barca, he has excellent skills, especially with ball possession. All Barca players are plenty fast. Barca did just get Alba for LB, and last year Adriano and Puyol were chosen to step in at LB when Abidal went out.

Loan or at least a buyback option if we do sell him.
Sell him for 6 mil, and Afellay for 8. That would give us the 14 mil we need to sign Martínez.

14 + 26 = 40 : )

Let us not forget that Barca didn't win the League, nor Champions League, that saved Barca from paying around 12 mil in bonuses to the players.
That could also be included in this budget.
