I know some of you here worship Marco Verratti, but calm down, it won't be an immediate effect, there is a slight chance the transfer of not even happening. Anyway I expect more of a Modric type of development - slow but steady development. Real Madrid reap the fruits of their patience, the Croat is their MVP, their Xavi and will never get the Balon d'Or thanks to his "world's greatest player for the past 20 years" teammate, who actually cannot even dribble with the ball any more.

Yeah but Verratti has been equally good in the CL against tougher teams, Barca included (look up his YouTube videos). So he is not your big fish in the pond, he has proven himself contrary to Seri who nobody knew before this season

That's literally what the Liverpool fan on this forum said about Coutinho who you claim is absolutely perfect, and a great fit for Barca.

I'm not saying he wouldn't be a good fit as an attacking midfielder for us, but there's no need to diminish Eriksen for others who's a great player himself.
