Marco Verratti

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
Strange thing is that you are more concerned about this than Serghei who had no problem replying to me

Because like before, I find it annoying to see you come and pluck out bits and pieces from a post to launch a barrage of laughing smileys. Did that to my post recently too which I just ignored.

It's annoying and people told you this before when you almost left because you got sad.

For Barca the only player I see as good enough for our midfield is Verratti.
The rest are just a waste of money, just another Gomes for me.
This includes Coutinho, Eriksen, Like, Thiago etc

Only Verratti is good enough to play for a Barca that will win multiple CLs in 8 years to come or so

I would prefer we sell gomez and buy sanchez from byern as an addition to squad and future prospect. Along with getting verratti

AND thiago wouldn't come and byern wouldn't sell otherwise he wouldn't be waste of money at all.

The 6-1 happened, even this can happen
Nothing is impossible

Valverde wants a midfield.
Even if I were made Barca coach I wouldn't settle for Seri, Coutinho, Keita, Eriksen or any other substandard player.

Madrid would have no problem meeting PSG's demands and look at how it is working for them

To me he is inferior.
Eriksen is good but not Barca good.
Not good enough to play in a Top 3 team

He is Chelsea level max. nothing more

I disagree with that. He's a key component of one of the best teams in the EPL the last few seasons.

Well, players look good all the time when playing at lower level tournaments.

Well, excuse me, Verratti is already great and has the potential to develop even further, but the French Ligue 1 isn't world's toughest, nor greatest league. One-horse race similar to German Bundesliga, Bayern and Dortmund, compared to Olympique Lyonnais and PSG domination this century.

I know some of you here worship Marco Verratti, but calm down, it won't be an immediate effect, there is a slight chance the transfer of not even happening. Anyway I expect more of a Modric type of development - slow but steady development. Real Madrid reap the fruits of their patience, the Croat is their MVP, their Xavi and will never get the Balon d'Or thanks to his "world's greatest player for the past 20 years" teammate, who actually cannot even dribble with the ball any more.:VdB:
