his agent clearly said

“I am trying to wield a champion, I ask those questions, and I pull on many threads. Anyone else in my position would do the same. You need to win to be a champion. "

u wont be a champion is PSG. u cant even beat Monaco in Ligue 1 ffs.

regarding the 6-1 loss, theres a simple quote for that.

IF U CANT BEAT THEM, JOIN THEM.

Do people really think Kevin Durant cares about all that bs right now that he is about to win his first NBA championship?

People will talk, haters will hate. If Verratti wants to reach his full potential, it is not gonna happen in Paris.

Yes.

Imagine chasing Verratti and Bellerin all summer to panic into signing those two in August lol
Despite our Window being less than ideal last season, at least Robert didn't waste to much time on a single target.

My theory is Robert has already talked with Mendes in regards to Semedo, and told him that he's our second option in case Bellerin doesn't come. I mean MD/Sport and the Portuguese press already talked about how Semedo is a major target and even went as far as saying he's our second option no doubt and even claim we had meetings with Mendes and are negotiations for him.

as For Seri, I wouldn't doubt Robert talked to his agent about him either as he was in France not to long ago and even local paper Nice Martin talked about it as well which is considered reliable. I think the one advantage we have with Seri is he's a huge Barca fan.

But yeah if we wait to long patience will run out and I hope Robert realizes this. If Arsenal won't budge then fuck it go for Plan B, and it's the same with Seri as well.

We should let go of Bellerin. Verratti is worth pursuing IMO. Even though I don't think it'll actually happen.

Anyway it sounds like Verratti wants to leave but PSG doesn't want to let him. PSG will probably win this one unless Verratti does something crazy like not showing up to training or whatever.

He really should've not signed that contract extension last season. Everyone knew that we were after him.

no kidding...He changes his mind in the span of one season? Last fall, he was more than happy to be the future of PSG, signing a 5 year extension. Now, he wants out. Don't get me wrong: I'd take him at any cost. But I wonder what made him suddenly change his mind? Losing the title to Monaco? The huge loss to Barca in the return leg?

Both!

Alot of good players were convinced by the PSG project but they're back to square one now. That 4-0 win against us was supposed to be their coming of age and Cl break through. Instead it turned out to be their greatest humiliation and alot of players ended up with egg on their face. To add salt to the wounds lost domestic league.

These factors have forced VERRATTI to reconsider his future.

If the guy wants out how are you going to keep him? Just like that "I know you hate playing for our club, but we will keep you or we will destroy your carrier?" I mean Nasser is Qatari and slave labor is nothing new in there, but is he going to pull the same crap in Paris? At the end of the day Marco might act different than Thiago Silva and decide that his legacy is more important than money. His agent already made a statement that this is not about money. Why so many people here assume that Veratti doesn't have ambitions and it's all about money. Veratti could be a player equal to Neymar and we all know how Neymar rejected more money from Madrid and joined Barca. It will be more surprising if he takes more money and destroys his career at PSG. That means deep inside he doesn't feel that he is up for challenge. I'm more optimist that he will go to better club if not Barca.

If he really wants out then a transfer is very much on the cards. Honestly I don't care about small mediocre transfers right now. We badly need a marque signing like verratti to really fix our midfield mess. I am already having dreams of verratti playing in our colors next season.

We aren't close to signing him but a players request to leave is a big step towards it. I hope this shuts up those overly pessimistic people who were somehow dead sure that we won't be getting him.

I spent good part of last night before sleep drooling at his YouTube videos

BTW I don't drool

I was checking his skills, movements, passes etc
Defence skills etc
I have never been this amazed and impressed about a potential signing before
Not even Suarez filled me with such excitement

He's been a fantastic player for PSG, no doubt. If he comes I hope he can become even better. Very complete midfielder.

It's easy, signing a new contract was a win-win situation for PSG and Verratti. Verratti gets a higher paycheck and PSG will be able to ask more for selling him because of the long contract.

He's the best player in PSG, the only reason PSG is a top 5 team, they are dragging him down and he should move on already because such talent should have some CL trophies by now.
