Marco Verratti

Barca would be smart to pull off the Verratti deal before Dembele. Don't think they can afford both.
Considering the shit Verratti is actually about to pull off he has absolutely cut the ties between him and PSG, so I don't see him staying at PSG next year anymore. If Barca doesn't go for him now, Utd or Bayern will. Dembele meanwhile can still move the next year.

Veratti has top priority imo. We desperately need a player with that profile. He needs to me our main target no matter what. Dembele would be a cherry on the top.

He really doesn't say anything. Guy asks him "how things are going" towards the end referring to his transfer saga, I think he interprets it as though he's asking him how he is doing in general, to which he says "good, good."

The only thing I can take is this. 1. He wants leave, that fact is well established. 2. He seemed quite open with the fans, the questions, people yelling at him come to Barca, taking pictures etc, big smile on his face since he got off the boat and faced the reporters. SOOO, I take if his desire is to leave and at same time he is so happy it means things aren't too shabby with regards to his transfer.

Or it could be Ibiza and all the fun he's having. I tried my best lol.

Marco Verratti met with PSG President Al Khelaifi today & repeated his desire to leave. Both parties sticking to their guns. (L'Équipe)

I know he is under contact and yada yada yada, but why in the world would a club want to keep a player who wants to leave so badly against his will? Makes absolutely no sense for a supposed 'big club'.

He PSG fan defending Nasser called it pride. Everyone else calls it being an idiot and delusional that he thinks they will win the CL.

He needs to push, but soon he will realize he is the only one doing the ''pushing" and might end up getting frustrated, because we aren't really helping him with 70-80m offers and being silent instead of encouraging him. It's our board that needs to push more, even more than Verratti.

Barca track record of pushing PSG ends bad everytime. This requires more urgency from Verratti the way I see it. We should know more soon.

Well I mean, first of all we have had too many recent examples of players acting like dicks and get what they want. So far clubs have uneagerly played along, but since this seems to become a habit rather than just an exception, there will sooner or later be that one club that says "fuck it, we'll set an example now" and keep that player, even if they just him bench him then.

Oh and then there's the other factor: It's Nasser.
The guy takes this shit extremely personal, remember your Luiz and Marquinhos pursuits?
