If we fail to sign him this summer than we should forget him forever and try to find another solution. By doing this soap operas every year we will just raise his salary every single time.
Regarding picture with Prosinecki smoking, well that was one of the reason his career wasn't big as it had to be with such a huge talent he had.
If Verratti smokes every now and then ok but if he is a regular full time smoker than this is a big f... problem and might be one of the reasons he is injured frequently.

A random question:
1. I would understand if Marca or As would say: Verratti is staying, since it is in the interest of RM if we won't get Verratti
2. also, I would understand if some papers close to Psg would lie about this thing, also, to possibly lower the chances of transfers (you see how fans have cooled down here after this article)
But why would Italian papers do this and lie?
What is their interest?

Should he come? Yes!
Would he be a big reinforcment? Yes!
Is he our only hope in the world and next best thing to Messi? FFS NO!
If we fail to sign him there are for sure other options in the range of 100 mil!!! It's not like he is the only hope we have for being great again.

Nope. We will. Lucho was beyond bad in his last season. Even if we bring no one of great impact (which won't be the case, hopefully), with increased motivation and a better manager, we can come back on top.
Rakitic is nowhere near finished, Busquets is the best DM in the world, Iniesta can still have a very good season. Just because we need a top midfielder, doesn't mean we can't field an extremely competitive team right now, with optimum motivation and solid tactics.
You guys seem to forget that we where the no1 team in La Liga last season against the teams from the first half of the table. We basically lost the title because Lucho did a piss poor job at collecting the easiest points against the lower ranked teams.
