Anyways.. good bye Veratti, we all got wet dreams here but it's time to get back to reality, which might be ugly. I think Farto&CO are destroying Barca and looks like there's no worthy candidate to step in:hang::hang::nervous::facepalm1:

No one stand a chance against them even if there was a capable person available.

It's like the mob.

They can do whatever they want, one scandal after another, and the socis don't care.

Wouldn't be surprised if they survived even selling Messi by painting it as necessary.

Don't be blind

Don't be clueless

Yeah so many teams were close to wining the treble last season
Real Madrid (had they not messed up their CDR matches)
Juve (had they not lost the final)
Barca (had they not lost the league, and crash out at QFs)
Bayern (had the referee been better, had they not messed their match against Dortmund in the last minutes)
Atletico (had they been consistent, and not buckle to Madrid)

I can go on

The thing is that we were closer than all of those teams and our we lost the league just because of 1 late goal.

Barcelona lost the league because of the bad football they played at times. Don't forget the games they won because of individual class of MSN mostly, and not because of team play. Without those Madrid would have won the league with a bigger points gap.

And now that's why everyone wanted so badly change and reinforcement.

i might be wrong but doesn't it works like : more people watching leads to High TRPs during matches leads to expensive rates for commercials/ads > TV broadcaster gets paid for showing commercials during the matches. Since they get paid more they are able afford purchasing La liga rights. And then a club who is able to negotiate tv rights individually with the federation has these stats.

Yes a single player won't really have an impact but the clubs do know where is the bigger market. If brazil for instance has been historically a good source of income , purchasing a brazil player can be helpful in attracting higher TRPs, hence putting a club in better position to negotiate. (i.e if barca matches are watched the most in that area, and is leading to higher revenues, that would mean a bigger chunk of the the laliga tv rights will be given to barca). Isn't that what madrid & barca do ?

They are not sold per match. La liga sells the rights for all matches, except clásico are separate. Only big companies can afford it, not a small local broadcaster. In Spain the money is not divided equally. Most of it goes to Madrid and Barcelona. In England, every team gets the same. This gives a big advantage to Barcelona and Madrid. And has already led to some discussions. There are agreements about how much they get from the money La liga receives from the companies.

Image rights.

Certain players are more marketable than others, and therefore you have people willing to pay a lot of money for let's say ads with them, or other commercial use of a player's brand/name. Most clubs have a part of a player's image rights and make money off that.

A club needs to have an agreement with the player for image rights. If they want to use him in club ads, they need to pay. They don't own part of the image rights.

We don't even have that "no one". Last election Laporte was casually strolling to the election, completely unprepared and the other clown was running a populist campaign a la Donald Trump. Like there was a real choice and socis failed to act.

Laporta's campaign sucked, but even if he had unlimited resources and a great campaign, he would have lost due to Bartomeu and the rest of the board bringing up the treble all the time in their campaign.

The club is starting to look at other options as PSG don't want to listen to any offers. That's it folks!

What scares me is the fact that Bartomeu is that stupid, Paulinho in his eyes is probably a signing that "excites".

It's a pity, but it seems like Verratti is destined to play out and waste his entire prime in PSG and simply fade away, get forgotten in 10 years.

That's what you get for signing a contract extension every year though. Suck it up now Marco and hope PSG's grand project doesn't get even worse.
