Cavani is too often a big game bottler (higuain).
City wanted Mbappe as well but that would have been their whole budget pretty much. Instead they signed a top goalkeeper and a new defence.

we've spent close to 300 mil for dembouz + coutinho only , renewed Messi , got yerry , got arthur for 40 mil , Plan to get griezboi for 100 mil . Where's the money for Veratti from ?

I agree that the ship has sailed when it comes to Verratti but bringing in Arthur shouldn't exclude other CM signings since it will take some time before Arthur gets to contribute. And even then, we can't bank on that Arthur will even be world class. It is an unknown at this point.

Completely disagree. It's lack of development not a character . I'm sure we would see different behavior if he was in Barca. Remember Luis Suarez biting problems before he joined to Barca? Or Alves acting like a clown since he left Barca. Never underestimate the club's culture and the influence on the player.

Nobody here thinks he's anything else than a very good player that would fit us like a glove. But... he chose to be a part of the project at PSG.

There is no doubt Verrati is quality but Sadly as people said above here the ship has sailed.. the time to sign him has long passed he made his choice and now we should make ours.
Too much money has been spent already on 4 players (Demouz Coutinho Mina and Arthur) not sure where we would even find the funds to make this transfer maybe in two years if he is still available and Arthur doesn't turn out to be what we expected then this will be a good idea. But I don't see it happening this summer at all.
Also still can't believe that stupid red card he got against RM shows that he could be really hot headed at times and stupid something that doesn't fit our clubs demands at all.
