I really don't understand how they could let him go. :(

I hope you are right, but I'm rather pessimistic about it.

He is a Juve fan though IIRC, so he'll probably be yours in the future.

Not going to happen anytime soon. PSG is set to be a CL contender year in year out while Juve is waiting for the next scandal to erupt.
Beside PSG could offer 4 times the salary package juve would.
Pogba is on 25 a week while Veratti is on 100 apparently.

Money talks and PSG slid in, it's probably best for the player anyway...Still, 5'5", I think that's going to limit his potential in the long run...Incredible how cool he is in tight spaces

You guys are acting like PSG is Malaga.
PSG will be a dominant force in the footballing world; unlike City they're building a very good long term squad, have a good manager at the helm and can retain their players with tax wavers and huge contracts.
The only way Verratti would leave is if he WANTS to go back to a club he really loves à la Balotelli. I don't really see that happening.

Or if he wants to go to a top league, which most great players do.

The French league is knocking on the doors of serie a in the UEFA rankings, the french league has been far from a walk on the park for PSG.
Monaco is going to be a force in next year's ligue 1, they were bought by the richest man in Russia.
Lyon has made a fool of Madrid this past decade in the CL knockouts and Marseille is probably going to get sold to Singaporean investors very soon.

Please know what you're talking about, ligue 1 is far from not being a top league. Sure it's not the EPL but no other league is comparable, not even la liga (once you leave the top 2)

From watching the French league I'd say that it's still far from the quality of La Liga, PL and the Bundesliga, and the Serie A too
