Marco Verratti found an agreement this sunday to prolong his contract with PSG (official)

Verratti's agent and Jean-Claude Blanc found an agreement this sunday.

Verratti prolonged his contract till 2018 (before was 2017). It goes hand in hand with a better salary. We still don't know exactly how much better his salary will be.

According to verratti's agent, the new contract will be signed once the team will be back from Gabon after the Trophée des Champions on august 3.

Donato Di Campli, Verratti's agent, revealed how he tried to bypass the ban of buyout clause in France.

- He tried to include a moral close so that verratti could leave whenever he wants if there is a good offer for him.

- Nasser was inflexible as a rock, and sent his request to die.

- Instead, Nasser obtained a rock solid contract that verratti will have real difficulties if he ever wants to leave PSG before the end of his contract.

He looks so childish  definitely doesn't look like 20 for me.

He's quite short. Not that Muscular. Actually he looks like a common romanian thief/pickpocket that plagues Paris

But whatever, he's great on the field.

The sol problem he has is his temper. He needs to calm down and accepts to shut up even when the referee is a total retard.

If he improves that, he'll become one of the best if not the best in the world at his position on the field.

Talking about verratti made me want to check a 2012-2013 video to remember what a great season he did. Stumpled on the ScoutNation's one.

I'm so delighted that he's staying and that PSG new contract plans for him to be one of the very core members in years to come.

Really one of my favorite PSG's players.

Didn't check, but it needs to be posted more anyways :)

He did good again tonight for the time he played!

As usual. He should be a consistent starter in my opinion. Otherwise, PSG lacks the creativity needed to break down defenses.

He'll be a great player in a year or two. Maybe even earlier.

There's no choice, Thiago Motta is always injured.

You maybe don't know but Motta injured himself 2 days ago and won't be playing tomorrow :(

Marco knows that he's the REAL starter, because motta plays only a few matches per season.

------

Anyway, Verratti's agent confirmed that Madrid tried to buy Marco. The agent traveled a lot to Madrid, but PSG refused every offers from Madrid, so Ancelotti had to buy another player.

I just read about it. It's a sad really, but in a way it's laughable.

I actually prefer the midfield with Motta and Verratti. I know Matuidi is a starter, and will continue to be that. But I'm not really a fan of him. In a 4-4-2, or actually in any formation you need good passers of the ball. Especially in central midfield. PSG are in a position where almost every single team they face are defending deep. To then have players like Matuidi in central midfield will make the team suffer. He's incredibly slow in possesion, has bad technique and he's not a very good passer. There's no point of having him playing in those games. In Champions League games, against attacking opponents then he's useful. Other than that, no.

When Motta plays together with Verratti they have at least two good passers.

Yes, I like Matuidis commitment and he's without a doubt good when it comes to regaining possession. But poor when it comes to doing things WITH the ball. He didn't deserve all the praise he got in my opinion.

Verratti and Motta handled Barcelona at the Camp Nou, and also played good together on more occasions. I'm confident PSG will benefit with more creativity in midfield. As for now, they only have Verratti and Ibrahimovic who's capable of passing. Not good enough. I would normally add Motta to those names but ye, he's constantly injuried

Blanc needs to sign a midfielder.

Woohoo, somebody that dislikes matuidi too!

Matuidi is overrated. He can't do long passes. He's as talented as Lavezzi when he has any chances to score.

The sol qualities he has is that he does a bit less faults than Motta and Marco.

As for the transfer. Here look:

PSG GROUP that will meet montpellier
ALEX
CAMARA Zoumana
CAVANI Edinson
COMAN Kingsley
DIGNE Lucas
DOUCHEZ Nicolas
IBRAHIMOVIC Zlatan
JALLET Christophe
LAVEZZI Ezequiel
LUCAS
MATUIDI Blaise
MAXWELL Sherrer
ONGENDA Hervin
PASTORE Javier
RABIOT Adrien
SAKHO Mamadou
SILVA Thiago
SIRIGU Salvatore
VAN DER WIEL Gregory
VERRATTI Marco

Group of players that were not chosen
BODMER Mathieu (Choix)
CHANTÔME Clément (Choix)
CONTE Antoine (Choix)
KEBANO Neeskens (Choix)
MARQUINHOS (Choix)
MAIGNAN Mike (Choix)
MENEZ Jérémy (Blessure)
MOTTA Thiago (Blessure)
SAABALY Youssouf (Choix)
SISSOKO Mohamed (Choix)
TRAORE Kalifa (Choix)

From here you can see Blanc doesn't count anymore on:

-Chantome
-Sissoko
-Bodmer.

All good news because those three are crap with horrible mentality. They can f*** off really.

Marquinhos is not ready yet since he was ill when he arrived at PSG.

So, you can see that Blanc wants to force Bodmer and co. out of PSG.

3 midfielders. So it's clear we'll get at least one more midfielder.

All points to Cabaye even if i'm not really fan of him.

Rumors say we could buy Cabaye and Debuchy if we success to loan VdW to Inter Milan.

According to Marco Mazzocchi from the RAI, Fiorentina sent a 25M offer to PSG for Verratti.

Said offer was immediately refused by Nasser.

Pretty obvious, wouldn't expect PSG selling him when he is one of the brightest prospects in the midfield and especially in an area were PSG isn't really good.
