He's Italian, that's why.

I know, i know. Still i find it funny since he's been useless so far but lo and behold, the dude could be useful for a change.

Though to be fair to the guy, Nasser holds all the cards. There's not very much he can do other than making him chose us over any other possible suitor.

He wants to join Barcelona it's just a matter of forcing his way out. He seems to have had enough and will force it as best he can but they might still keep him against his will.

When I see news from reliable sources on PSG deciding to sell him, that's when I will start to get a little excited. That Verratti wants to play for us is something we have known for years, so in that sense there haven't been any news so far really.
I just can't see Nasser letting him leave, more so to the team that embarrassed them in the CL and made the greatest comeback with them in the wrong end. He is just too damn proud. He would have to get someone like Neymar or Messi in return so his team won't look like the dying project it is.

Just because he loves Paris does not mean he will stay.

Everybody has different taste. Personally I like more Barcelona, especially the people and atmosphere.

and anyway, it's just opinion. I'm sure many people love Paris, but Barcelona as well. It's an opinion.

True but just because you love a city doesn't mean you'll stay .

My favourite city abroad is Amsterdam but it does not mean I'd live there.

If they keep him against his will, what kind of message they will give to potential signings. I don't think they would want to be that sort of employers. So if he pushes enough, they will finally will have to let him go.

They already have that reputation. Cavani has wanted to leave and others. They don't sell unless they want to.

True. Exactly. Most of the ManU players don't live in Manchester, because it's awesome place(far from it, to be honest). Mostly because the paycheck and status of the team. It's legendary, same as Barcelona. In Verratti's case possibility to play with MEssi, Neymar, Suarez, Iniesta etc etc. Must be tempting!

but they some how manage to keep the players by paying them more. We haven't really seen a case where player wouldn't want to stay no matter what.
