he reminds me so much of a guy who used to play football in my team. He's exactly like ballo, except that he smoked pot, lol. so glad that he doesnt play with me anymore!

it's going to be interesting to see which club wants to buy him...such a wasted talent...he would be a great footballer!

If his private life wasn't exposed this much he'd certainly get less yellow cards. The refs have some sort of prejudice with him, can't deny that. His red vs Liverpool was not even near a yellow yet he got a red card...

Football needs someone like Balotelli, the man went trough some hard times in his life, adopted ect... his biological parents wrote some stuff in the papers ect. He's like most of the 'normal' youths, except he has money, and uses it where ever he can.

I think we can. His tackles against Arsenal were more suited to a kickboxing arena than a football pitch. If any 'prejudice' is held against him, it is more likely for his petulance on the field than his idiocy off it.

I can totally understand him, especially in the context of that game. Song injured Yaya and didn't get a yellow while Yaya got a yellow for something not even foul worthy. I can't look into his mind, but it seems he didn't meant to break his leg or anything, it was a scratch if you look at it rationally as he held back. If he wanted to break his leg he would do it. I'm not trying to defend horror tackles but it seems in this case he did not want to break his leg. If you watch closely he even hit the ball after it bounced off song. People bring up 'WHAT IF', but it didn't happen... if we used the WHAT IF argument we could go and have red parties almost every game.

Balotelli gets treated like shit just because the press expose everything he does. Why can't they stop sniffing his ass for private matters? It's no one's business what he does and who he fcks with.

you are using the 'what if' argument to try and get into this guy's head regarding that tackle. no matter what was going through his mind, that was a dangerous ass tackle that deserved a red no matter if he clipped the ball or not. i remember watching that game, and everyone in the park knew the guy was going to get sent off, he was throwing ridiculous challenges all over the place.

he gets shit from pundits and the press because he's famous and a nutter, simple as that. of course they're looking for headline worthy stuff but he gives it to them in bunches.

They tried to demonize him after that game as if he out kill someone. He should have the benefit of the doubt as it (to me atleast) didn't seem he was out to break his leg. The red he got in the end was pure out of frustration and in the context of the game understandable, as we all know his temper.

And the city representatives who got mad, it's not like the scoreline would have been different if he didn't got his red, it was almost the end of the game anyway.

The ref was slightly biased in that game, that was the reason he got angry in the first place.

And yes, the tackle looked horrible at first glance and perhaps he should have got an red card from that perspective. But that was the decision of the ref, and we can't blame Balotelli for not getting the red. But I don't think he wanted to break his leg or anything.

personally i think balotelli is a moronic money crazed young idiot who should not play football lest he ruin someone's career or kill someone outside the pitch with the amount of money he earns and the antics he pulls off.

I completely get where you are coming from, but judging him and insulting him won't make him any better. The media exposure and the reaction of the opposite football supporters feeds his bad behaviour, maybe he would be less tempered if the supports didn't insult him every game based on those media reports in the first place... It's easy to judge him from out perspective, he never asked his private matters to be shared with the rest of the world.

Maybe people should start to enjoy his football instead of the sensational one-liners and rumours. If the player has temper that's his thing many players have the same mentality or temper and don't get as much hate as Balo oes, it's part of the game part of his personality, get on with it and move on. Enjoy his talent, if he wants to waste it why care?

Giving a fck is side effect of caring.

I remember this goal, this was something like a superman goal. The guy is full of talent and showed glimpses of hope with his behaviour so there is still things we can expect from him to come.

Italy this summer? He might be the surprise (in every sense of the word)

you're right, we can't blame him for not getting the red, but we can blame him for being reckless and not doing himself any favors with his attitude and actions. like when he got the red, he struts off the pitch slow as can be while his team is down 1-0, which just adds fuel to the fire. he just has a piss-poor attitude and it shows on and off the pitch. sure, some of that is intense media scrutiny but a lot of it is his own doing.

he's an enormous talent but i would never want him at barca and i'm not sure very many coaches would want him in their team without a major personality overhaul. don't get me wrong, he's great for the sport, who doesn't love a train wreck? but if he wants to be as good as he can be, he needs a serious readjustment.
